Shows how well Martin did with us tbh.

Nathan Wood is HIS signing so not sure how you reached that conclusion 😀

Ankerson’s transfer tavern special Ronnie ‘I saw Jack the Hat get shot in the Blind Beggar’ Edwards is even worse if anything.

We literally don’t have a midfield

Nope. No DM (it's never Charles)
No creative attacking midfielder.

Just some central midfielders to move the ball about, in Downes (invariably backwards), Charles (usually sideways) and Smallbone (5 yards distance, but across the pitch).

Like our attacking width, every player we have is really going for 1 position.

I'd love to see if WS would be setting up different or changing quicker if his brothers were in his staff.

I guess we'll never know.

If only, he's giving it straight to Norwich

This is as embarrassing a performance a I have seen from Saints (and yes, that includes he 9-0s).  THis is a performance without any saving graces (except Fraser and McCarthy).

Will Still will start getting pelters in the near future if we persists with this shit style and line-up.  Every time we've played this season with 5 at the back we've looked comical with no midfield.

An absolute joke of a performance and awful, awful tactics.

Wtf has happened to Edwards? Were QPR fans just lying about how good he was last season?

Depends on if you think being named QPR's (finishing position: 15th) young player of the year means anything. For context, the winner for the previous two seasons was prolific striker Sinclair Armstrong for scoring 4 in 40 (23/24) and 0 in 24 (22/23). He's since joined Bristol City (3 in 38 in 24/25).

If his brothers could play on the wing, they'd be starting.

Agreed, I remember when we lost those two games 9-0 I was sat there thinking "At least we're not drawing 0-0 at Carrow Road."

Yet he had players suited to his system like Downes and Smallbone.

Just thought I'd expand on this, sorry.

He had players bought to be suited to his system like Downes, and players like Smallbone that were already in the squad. Still has had players such as Sulemana, Edozie and Dibling, immediately sold or frozen out of the squad to be sold. Not that his lauded pragmatism has particularly come out this season, but the board (and the club) set up Martin better from the start.

The Archer we bought, shoots on sight there. What have we done to him

The Archer we bought is the same cart horse as the one on the pitch. He's another 'always been terd thus still is terd' which appears to be our transfer strategy.

Give it a rest. This isn't even close to being a bad performance by our standards.

That he needs two wingers - it's why he is constantly mentioning it.

Fraser and Edozie. Robinson. Armstrong.

Done.

Had high hopes for Still but this level of woefulness can’t be ignored too much longer.

That's because FM defaults  to player strengths and not when they're having a shit day and don't respond to the keyboard

'Tis but a scratch of incompetence! Come back here and watch our defenders collide into each other again! 🙂
