Fair play to Blackmore for publically digging out SR, makes a welcome change.

Blackmore and Alfie house calling out the club and players.. just shows what a shit show we have running our club.

We are building a monumental side for next season.

Bazunu

Sugawara, Stephens, Sayanda, Manning

Matsuki, Smallbone

Brereton-Diaz, Juan, Downs

Archer

That is a potent mix of real experience, talent and multi-club advantages

Bro that team will be sick, some absolute ballers in the team

Coming to something when two of the most compliant journalists speak out against these clowns

If he goes to Boro it will certainly be a hefty part of the free dependant on promotion this season.

Probably same for Wrexham. We’ll flag up the potential fee, but at their end it’ll be half of that mentioned (and overlooking the add-ons, ie Rasmus carefully negotiating a £5m add on after his first England game at the World Cup this summer ).

Obviously didn’t enjoy Dragan’s hospitality last summer, or don’t want to repeat it this year

JWP made it to Burnley,  wonder if Parker can get him going forward 🙂

I didn’t want him back would limit Bragg and Williams development

I found that genuinely fucking strange.

Will they do one with Marvin?

A goal every two games does not equate with going long spells without scoring.

Thought you were better than that. The two things cannot be equated, it's like comparing apples to oranges. But the fact is, Armstrong has only once (in the Championship) come close to 1 in 2, at Blackburn, when he was actually much better, more like 1 in 1.4. Every season since then (in the Championship) he has been well below 1 in 2, indeed last season it was about 1 in 5. Since the Blackburn season (which remember was 6 years ago) he has often gone longish spells without scoring, and that's partly why he hasn't got close to 1 in 2 for the last 5 seasons. MLG's quote of nearly 1 in 2 was highly contrived, firstly taking only Championship seasons into account, and second going as far back as Blackburn to even remotely get near the figure he was quoting.

I don't think we should let Armstrong go this season, but it is an undeniable fact that he goes longish periods without a goal involvement (two such runs this season) and we can't go on with a striker like that.

Honestly player announcement videos have jumped the shark.

Stewart Taylor was the high point now its try hard bullshit since then, although i give a free pass to Neil Maupay and Sevilla today that was pretty funny

They must’ve been told they’re getting no more trips to Dragan’s pad

Adam Blackmore and Alfie House actually dig them out more than your ears maybe care to listen.

I think they’re very balanced in their analysis, also quite direct.

I think archer is actually a lot better then what we have seen of him. His finishing and technique is better then AA. His spell at boro showed he can be prolific at championship level but with us he just gets the odd start here n there or his minutes are coming from the bench . If he was at a club that’s starting him every week he will score goals

Nope - sorry not having it. He’s slower than AA, has seemingly zero positional sense, can’t tackle, doesn’t find a decent pass and usually shoots straight at the keeper. I’m trying to think of one attribute.

My apologies. I wasn't actually promoting either concept, merely point out the incompatibility.

They’re balanced normally that I agree with, but it’s noticeable in recent weeks just how direct House has been with his criticism of SR, and this comment from Blackmore is certainly a bit more loaded than he would be normally I’d say.

I can’t recall which game I was watching recently when Blackmore stated in the prematch that someone from SR had called him to have a moan because he’d tweeted that appointing Still was a gamble, and Blackmore was rightfully less than impressed that the same person hadn’t apologised to him when it inevitably went wrong. I wouldn’t be surprised if that act of thin skinned pettiness from SR has rubbed Adam up the wrong way.

I can’t believe there is “plenty of interest” in Cameron Archer.

It's Alex Crook, so he's just made that up.

Surely as a journo that’s whe you start calling out who that muppet for SR was?
Yes you might lose your access but you’ll have thousands of fans behind you and you’d just be proven right.

Sport Republic would be done. More than they already are.

What are Akachukwu and the other youngsters like?

Yeah... What ever happened to him? He was tearing up the U21 competitions with goals galore, got rewarded with one or two appearances on the first team bench, then never to be seen again... Probably injured I guess, but in the absence of any tangible info it's just another one of those Saintsy type mysteries...

"Right Pep," says Rasmus, adjusting the pile of unsold books on his desk. "Here's the system and tactics we need from you. Once you've learned those, I'll take you down to the crèche to meet your backroom team."

Now say something that's unlikely to be true... ;)

We will sell Armstrong, fail to land his replacement on deadline day and miss out on a forward all together. Then Stewart will get injured against Watford and he'll be out for the rest of the season. It's almost nailed on.

What's not to like?

If that did happen I can't deny that it would be very amusing in a fatalistic kind of way. Stay up last day of the season with a 1-0 win off Archer's arse, sack Tonda and go for a 31 year old for the renewed push next year.
