davefizzy14 Posted Monday at 21:04 Posted Monday at 21:04 (edited) We need Leo on and an extra body in midfield. We do not need five at the back in the second half. Edited Monday at 21:07 by davefizzy14 4
SaintsfanSwindon Posted Monday at 21:04 Posted Monday at 21:04 Surely he has to make changes at time. That was abysmal. Please no back 5 and get Leo on. 1
JohnS Posted Monday at 21:04 Posted Monday at 21:04 Utter 💩 God we are an awful team. Tactically poor, unorganised, no fight, slow, 2nd to every ball etc……. Utter shite Birmingham manager very animated & willing his players on - Ekert stood there frozen - Think he’s well out of his depth What is happening at this club to allow this just to always stay the same? 13
scumbag Posted Monday at 21:04 Posted Monday at 21:04 Maybe he asked them to do some extra fitness work and has lost the dressing room? I remember Still mentioning that he made them stay up after an away game and do some work, and they obviously took revenge.

Toussaint Posted Monday at 21:04 Posted Monday at 21:04 I’m pleased to say that Tonda has addressed and rectified a serious problem, inconsistency. We are now far more consistent, we used to be terrible in the second half, now we are terrible in the first half as well. 2 9
obelisk Posted Monday at 21:05 Posted Monday at 21:05 Brum always look to break forward when we give up possession. Saints always look for the safe pass backwards which ends up not being safe at all. Can only hope the plan is to win the 2nd half for a change now. I'd be looking to get Wood off (on a yellow), introduce Scienza and play with an extra man in midfield. It's time to actually go for the points or it'll be mid table anonymity this season. 7
Viking Saint Posted Monday at 21:05 Posted Monday at 21:05 Welington on for Manning, Leo for Wood, Matsuki for Azaz. None of them will happen but got to have hope 2
warsash saint Posted Monday at 21:05 Posted Monday at 21:05 That half proves that Don Goodman is still an insufferable twat!

JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted Monday at 21:06 Posted Monday at 21:06 That was rubbish. I don't get how the team can go from one extreme to the other.
RedArmy Posted Monday at 21:06 Posted Monday at 21:06 On the 5th day of Christmas my true love gave to me, 500 aimless passes. 3 4

Saint Fan CaM Posted Monday at 21:06 Posted Monday at 21:06 Tactics are wrong. 5/11 players are shite. 5/11 players are having a mare. 1 player is trying with no support. No prizes for guessing who fits which category. Will it change? Nope. 1 1
Scoobysaint Posted Monday at 21:06 Posted Monday at 21:06 (edited) We seem to have been worked out after that initial five or six game good spell. The key triangle move to create space from CB to CM and then onto winger is being snuffed out. Admittedly we seem to be doing everything much slower. Teams have worked out that if you press the midfield two and stop them receiving the ball, we are a bit clueless. Hopefully Leo for Robinson or Azaz and Welly on for Manning. Edited Monday at 22:40 by Scoobysaint 1
Convict Colony Posted Monday at 21:06 Posted Monday at 21:06 the last few games have not been good enough. Who picks the team who picks the formation, who picks the tactics ? downes, stephens ?
benjii Posted Monday at 21:07 Posted Monday at 21:07 THE NEGATIVES - "back 7" way too deep for 20 minutes - Manning plays us into trouble constantly - Azaz hold up play is ass - Don't trust the ref THE POSITIVES - not losing and still got Scienza to come - Fabricant-san couldn't hit a Sumo's arse with a bullet train - Robinson. Looks very dangerous. 1
trousers Posted Monday at 21:07 Posted Monday at 21:07 (edited) Can someone please explain to me why / how Tonda has gone from getting a decent tune out of these players to seemingly not having a clue, all in the space of a few weeks. I'm genuinely baffled. Edited Monday at 21:07 by trousers 3

Midfield is being overrun. The 3 CBs are as bad as each other. Total shit show tbh and should be losing. Spot on, The two or three times Fellows has got forward he’s been a threat but he’s held back Azaz playing some sort of left inside forward role which doesn’t suit him as he doesn’t have enough pace, over run in midfield. Manning been the worst player on the pitch by some distance. 2
LGTL Posted Monday at 21:07 Posted Monday at 21:07 I’m fed up of saying it but I’m going to keep saying it until I don’t need to say it anymore: WE NEED ANOTHER FUCKING MAN IN MIDFIELD AND ONE LESS FUCKING CENTRE BACK YOU BLIND FUCKING IDIOT. 20
Big M Posted Monday at 21:08 Posted Monday at 21:08 Does Manning actually get paid to impersonate a shockingly bad footballer, I can live with a lack of talent but the lazy tit doesn't even break a sweat when he passes to the opposition to attempt to help out, how just how is he picked every game, I'm bewildered. 5
Andy Hill Posted Monday at 21:08 Posted Monday at 21:08 We could get relegated at this rate - no pace, no urgency, overrun in midfield. 1

Osvaldorama Posted Monday at 21:09 Posted Monday at 21:09 This and the Oxford game are nothing short of a disgrace. As bad as anything under Still. The formation is a fucking joke. 6
Lighthouse Posted Monday at 21:09 Posted Monday at 21:09 Such a shame the DVD of this wasn’t out in time for Christmas. 6
HarvSFC Posted Monday at 21:09 Posted Monday at 21:09 Standards have dropped right off in the last few games and so far Eckert's shown he's been unable to get them back. The team earlier in the month showed what they're capable of playing, but they need strong leadership to ensure those levels are maintained, but they seem to have reverted back to their comfort zones. A much stronger second half needed. Fellows is our dangerman at the minute, get Scienza on the other side. 3
Toussaint Posted Monday at 21:09 Posted Monday at 21:09 Rasmus has found the new assistant coach, he’s really confident he will get with the program. 1 1
Micky Posted Monday at 21:11 Posted Monday at 21:11 Unfortunately we are now stuck with the Tonda second half strategy, where he'll change nothing at half time, wait until the 70th minute and then make 3 subs that make us weaker. Can't wait. 2 1

Mr X Posted Monday at 21:12 Posted Monday at 21:12 Have we seen enough now to know that Tonda isn't the manager to take us forward? (Quite Literally) He had a flukey run of wins and SR got carried away with seeing it as an easy way to appease the fans and get out of jail, now we are seeing his actual managerial credentials on the pitch 2
captainchris Posted Monday at 21:13 Posted Monday at 21:13 Martin Ball and that ain’t good enough from our Coach ! Slow predictable poor…

Stick GPT 5 in that bad boy and he’s good to go! “Harnessing the strategic brilliance of a true visionary, Rasmus has orchestrated an absolute masterclass in tactical evolution! 🚀✨ By daring to deploy the legendary Jack Stephens within a sophisticated back-three system, Rasmus isn't just playing football—he is painting a defensive masterpiece on the canvas of the pitch. This isn't merely a lineup change; it is a genius-level calculation that harmonizes grit with tactical fluidity. It’s giving "tactical innovator of the century" vibes! We are witnessing a 4D chess move that leaves the opposition in a state of absolute "error 404: defense not found." Rasmus is truly playing the beautiful game while the rest of the world is still learning the rules! ⚽🧠🏆 Would you like me to generate an image of a futuristic tactical chalkboard celebrating this "genius" formation?”

Normally you get a whole bunch of comments on forums, usually bollocks, but if we can all see this why can't they. Birmingham like Oxford, are doing nothing to facilitate this lethargy and general shitness. They've got their own problems containg even the mildest of attacks from Saints. 1

No disrespect to Oxford and Birmingham, as they’re clearly working hard and set up well. But with our resources and size of the club it’s just beyond horrendous. 2
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted Monday at 21:14 Posted Monday at 21:14 Fuck me, we are so shit. What's happened to the team that put a run together after Still was sacked? Azaz has gone missing again and is nowhere to be seen. Shame that we're so shit that we have to play 3 CB's. And 2 defensive midfielders in front of them. Even then we concede ridiculous goals. Standing by what I said before the Oxford game. We'll be lucky to see 4 points from the next 4 games, and that was before that shit show at Oxford. 1
Suhari Posted Monday at 21:14 Posted Monday at 21:14 Highlight of the first half was the phonecall from one of my tenants, telling me about a water leak. Think we might see an improvement second half? We usually do. Oh....yeah........ummm...
