Mixedkebab Posted yesterday at 20:32 Posted yesterday at 20:32 Much better so far Azaz so frustrating 2
Chez Posted yesterday at 20:32 Posted yesterday at 20:32 5 minutes ago, Mr Brightside said: Definitely a shocking miss. But I think he’s been bright. Not everything coming off but he’s always looking for the ball, finding space, getting forward. Much happier with him in the 10 role. playing in the hole is perfect for him - his strength is threading nice little passes...plus he can do the absolute bare minimum amount of running.
obelisk Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 Saints creating chances but just not clinical enough. Worth a 1-0 lead but should be more. 3
Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 It's our mentality that falls apart when tested normally. We've been in winning positions after strong starts plenty of times this season. Keep it together Saints, FFS. 1
saint michael Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 Let’s protect this lead second half by defending on our 6 yard line
Osvaldorama Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 Best half from us all season. Why the FUCK has this obvious stuff not been done for months 2 1
LiberalCommunist Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 Our biggest weakness. Being 1-0 up at HT. Now the test starts........
Saint Scott Posted yesterday at 20:33 Posted yesterday at 20:33 Good half, makes a change Id pull Azaz for Arma at HT 2

Baird of the land Posted yesterday at 20:34 Posted yesterday at 20:34 Nice to see us playing so well. 4 at the back too! Welington looks such an upgrade on manning and great to have a target man(until he gets injured again) only downside is the failure to get the important 2nd goal 5

Mboto Gorge Posted yesterday at 20:34 Posted yesterday at 20:34 Let’s see if we can actually manage the second half better than previous games we’ve been leading at half time in. Suspect we will see the exact opposite of that first half in the second.
tdmickey3 Posted yesterday at 20:34 Posted yesterday at 20:34 Should be at least 2 nil but could have been 3 or 4 but so wasteful. We all know how our 2nd halves go. Revert to 3 CB and hang on and lose 1-2 1

Micky Posted yesterday at 20:35 Posted yesterday at 20:35 Not really taken full advantage of our good play, now we've got to survive one of Tonda's half time tactical masterclass, and then hope we can kick on and win. 3

Dr Who? Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 Everyone bracing themselves for 2nd half Saints? Bring on the clowns 🤡
AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 Are the commentators actually watching the game, and if so, in Southampton. Christ alive 1
Harry_SFC Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 Sheffield United have been crap but the back 4 look pretty solid. Stewart give us the option of going long that we've been badly missing. When fit he has to start. Scienza best player on the pitch again. Azaz standing out for the wrong reasons. I'd get Matsuki or Robinson on for him.
Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 2 minutes ago, Saint Scott said: Id pull Azaz He's not your type either. 2
captainchris Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 If our coach has thought that Manning is better than Wellington all season so far he is seriously deluded and clueless! 4
stknowle Posted yesterday at 20:36 Posted yesterday at 20:36 Best half we’ve put together in weeks. Worried it’s only 1-0 to show for it and S.U have quite a lot on the bench.

OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted yesterday at 20:37 Posted yesterday at 20:37 SR, please take note. You bring in a centre forward who can hold up the ball, lay off passes and shoot once in a while and we look a much better team. Ross isn't a magician but he strengthens our team.
Turkish Posted yesterday at 20:37 Posted yesterday at 20:37 Wood on for Scienza back to a back 3, protect what we’ve got 3

DT Posted yesterday at 20:39 Posted yesterday at 20:39 You can get 10-1 on a defeat from here. Just saying. Sometimes putting money on that ensures a Saints win. 1

saintant Posted yesterday at 20:40 Posted yesterday at 20:40 Stewart has been very good. Won his share of headers and very neat and tidy on the ground. Considering how little football he's had he's done great in that half. It's good to finally have a focal point. Fingers crossed he can stay fit cos he's going to be a key player for us. 1
gammon cheeks Posted yesterday at 20:40 Posted yesterday at 20:40 Nice simple football ..... look so much better 3
saintant Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Wilder is going to act swiftly with subs and he's got some good options. We need to have a good second half. 2

die Mannyschaft Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago 200% better should have had 3 or 4 goals. Better passing going forward. Good cross field ball. Just shoot first time. Much more effort which is good sign

Thing is though his injury record means we have to surely be very careful with him. Would think its probably not sensible to play him for more than an hour tonight. Armstrong in theory should be a useful sub against tiring legs but obviously we will lose the physical presence.
