Would you look at that... we actually attacked down the wing and crossed it for the striker. Well played edozie and larin, saved Eckert's blushes, maybe.

It's amazing how unbalanced we look. Huge gaps in midfield. So slow to move the ball. Tactical mess from Tonda tonight - one to move on and learn from.

Sadly it seems that Charles undermines out structure - he's everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

On tonight's showing we're kidding ourselves if we want a playoff place, but we are due a bad performance.

I thought we could play for 6 days extra and not score - so happy to be wrong.  We DO have strength in depth for this league, such a shame we wasted 14 games discovering it.

Eckert has had his chance to learn from similar piss poor performances. He can't motivate them and here's another abject display against a struggling team. I don't think he'll do any better next season either.

West Brom deserve this; they have fought well and outmuscled us.  We are pedestrian, purposeless and pathetic.  If we do manage to get a point (and as I type this we SCORE), it will be an injustice.  Excellent cross from Edozie and a great header from Larin.  Now we awake from our slumber and go for the winner.  On the balance of the whole game we do not deserve it.

Some weird reactions to Eckert on here as if mind were made up 10 weeks ago and not since we've been one of the best teams in the league.  So odd.

 

So to clarify, absolutely meh game from us (not that I am surprised really) but really the odd hate for setting up as we have, having not lost in 9 games (nope 10 now including cup), with our best potential line up.  Play the man, not your weird pre-conceived notions of the man.
