DT Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Great win. Would have lost 5-0 with Bazunu in goal because he wouldn't have saved any of those. Peretz was immense and has made a huge difference to the whole side. Was wound up by the Lampard-licking Sky coverage beforehand. It was all about Coventry. Ha! That'll teach 'em. Well done Saints. Saint NL Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I don't think we cheated or played dirty today, with the exception of THB faking a head injury. It was actually refreshing to see Saints play with more physicality as we've been way too passive for way too long. 6

Sheaf Saint Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I couldn't watch today cos I was out with no signal. RedWillie Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Won't hold a few delusional comments by their fans against them.Β Soft spot for Coventry,Β had some great games with them back in the day at the Dell 8.2, 5.5, trips to Highfield road on the big open terrace away section where it was too far and packed to walk for a piss and an easy train up there on the Virgin flyer. OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago So Peretz gets MotM. Fair play. Thought Bree was brilliant. He was playing against a pretty good winger and hardly let anything past. Once again Downes bossed the midfield. THB and Jack were especially solid and Manning seems to have turned things around too. A particularly good day out. Did like it when we were singing Israel's No 1 s so their fans responded with England's No 1 about their goalie...then he booted straight in to touch...so we started singing England's No 1. 1

benjii Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Comfortable win. They barely created a decent chance all match. All they do is sling it in the mixer. As for our match, we rode our luck but we made it by a performance that was so unlike us in recent years and the sheer grit, determination and shithousery was a sight to behold and, for me, made it the most satisfying performance for many years: a proper football match between two (almost) equally matched teams. Peretz, Bree and Downes men of the match. 1
