I assume Essruu is camped outside Apple HQ with a permanent boner. He loved that company.

    Yes.

Then removing it and denying it, but secretly hoping someone would 'quote' the post so it repeats itself

He changed it to Ludwig but eventually got banned.

Essruu I apparently flew home from either Morocco or Spain about 10 years ago, never met him though.
If it was Morocco 10 years ago then may have been me too! We went to Marrakech for a week together back then.

Likewise. I don’t think we’ve ever met, but I know who you are, think we have a fair few mutual acquaintances

I wander how many of the names listed are still around under a different name? Quite a few I'd guess.

My 1st ever dip into the murky pool of mongboardery was Studio54 (?) which I think predated SaintsForever and all the others. Was definitely a Lads Forum, no holds barred!!

Think that was the old Saintsforver, network 54 with Keith Legg. I remember he had skate bashing page, stories about scraps with Pompey over the years, when saintsforever went more mainstream he deleted it. IT was definitely a lads site with some proper funny stuff on there. It was the move to St Marys when al the geeks came along and took over, starting to have their seating plans so they could all wave at each other during games, dinlows.

Didnt he have a list of 100 things fans had done at the Dell, it was a great read, very funny but so true.

Bridge Too Far disappeared, very feminist and left wing but a shame she doesnt post anymore. Perhaps 2 or so years. Ottery I think was suffering with bad health

I'll never forget being told to just get behind the statue (not literally i don't think). People were genuinely saying stop criticising it it's not that bad As time has passed it actually looks even worse than it did at the time.

What was the name of the Liverpool supporter with a gangster avatar who used to sell pop art? Was it the don?

Not sure but wasn't the threats he was getting starting to escalate to threats to his family and home.

Didn't know that! He was getting on though, that's for sure, and one of the quirkier posters. Sad to note that a few have passed on, hopefully Art's OK.

That was the rumour at the time but not sure whether it was true or not. I also remember it being said that Keith's site was being subdued by by some head honchos at saints.

Gecko - always contributed something imaginative when any discussion was held about the change of team strip, or club crest. His offerings were always better than the strip the club eventually announced.

I believe Keith received freebee's from the club...that may be wrong, but sure that is when the resentment by some loons started

Really? Wow! I think the only people who thought it was ok were the sculptor and the guy at Saints who signed it off and who should have gone to Specksavers. It truly was horrendous.
