For someone who thinks they might get a management job in the Championship then watching the Man City kids (and our kids) is probably just a good idea in itself. There's probably some future loanees right there from both clubs.

It's just an added bonus that it winds up a few utter saps on here, rolling out their usual mentality of "i don't want it to happen so the club will definitely do it" wrist slit routine.

Why the fcuk has Cleverley shown up at all??  He has no ties with either club, and surely he doesn't believe it would help his chances to be appointed first team manager?

Because he’s a football manager who lives in Manchester I expect, why does it bother you so much?

Not sure of the benefit of going to an u21s match when the vast majority of the side is expected to be released in a week's time

It doesn't.... I just wondered why and asked for opinions.  Why does that bother you so much?

If you dredge the Internet for long enough you'll be able to find an article saying we're set to appoint Mick Harford.

Post the link up and shit yourself about that too.

Knowing SR it's more likely it'll br Mick Hucknell

Think you may have reasoned it for yourself.

Ask for a refund on my season tickets which I should have held off renewing. Had enough of bad decisions by the club hierarchy

This is tradition / obligatory at this point...

If you're wondering then it's pretty common for football managers / coaches to watch matches to see players. So maybe he's doing that, absolutely guaranteed he won't be alone.

What updates are you expecting?

I thought the last word was that he would be at the game on Sunday. It's only Thursday. Are you expecting some sort of communication every day / hour to confirm he's still going?

Maybe a post showing which route he'll be taking in his pope mobile?

Is that a Nick Pope mobile? COT slacking on this one.

If I don’t get who I want I’m not renewing my season ticket, and, I don’t know who I want until he gets us automatic promotion and consolidates us in lower mid table in the premier league next season. I think the following season it wouldn’t be unreasonable to win a cup and qualify for a European competition. Come on Sports Republic, make it happen ffs!

Wonder who will have the binoculars trained on the Director’s box on Sunday? Will we see the attendance of not so Cleverly, will it be Will Still still or will Danny Rohl into town in a late bid to claim a seat, a champagne lunch and the keys to the Managers office? Your guess is as good as mine folks, but one things for sure…there’ll surely be a party to celebrate the last game of the English Soccerball Super League season.

(apologies I went all @Turkish there for a minute).

Hey buddy! You’re so right. It’s fricking awesome our final game of this series is against the London Gunners with goal minder Ramsdale able to show them Arsenal guys what they’re missing with several more impressive hand denials.

remember we are only a small franchise in this soccerball league but next season we should be able to get more ties and victories when we play non premier league ties I’m looking forward to watching us play the Glasgow Celtic hoops as I have big Irish family and they love the British soccerball championship.

if we can find some strong offensive players, a great coach and improve our wide receiver no reason why we couldn’t return to the EPL soccerball league for series 26/27 let’s Southampton Saints!

Feels odd to see you use the word "reasoned"... but I meant in relation to him being there if he was about to become manager of Saints' first team. In other words, it made little sense and for some not to be so easily dramatic
