Has anyone managed to decipher the Sky website info to find out if the match will be shown on TV tonight and if so can we watch it on NowTV?  It's all gobbledegook to me.

Asking for a friend.

It's on sky+ so should be available, not sure how you find that on NowTV

Time to ‘experiment’ with a back 4, and get minutes for some strikers who desperately need to find a goal and prove they can play regularly.

Don’t really care if we lose, we can then focus on being shit in the league.

Yes all the games are on Now TV.

Go to the EFL section in Sports, all the League Cup games are there. Coverage starts from 7.30pm.

Mads....Edwards....Quarshie....Taylor

Downes....Charles....Sesay

AA....Stewart....Archer

I think you need to be a bit more realistic.

Yep, or a search for "Norwich" on the NOW TV home page will take you straight there too 👍

Ah Norwich. A fine City, one blessed with giving me my wonderful wife (she's watching me type with a gun in hand. Call the Popo!) Norwich is famous for being near Great Yarmouth, UK's number 1 tourist destination and totally non-tacky seafront filled with over-ripe visitors, proud locals and a thriving drugs trade. Norwich itself is famous for it's castle, which lends it's design to the local mall, and for Zaks, the local chain of American style diners which have been helping keep me fat for some 20 odd years. It's also haunted, Norwich locals say they can here an old lady wailing in the streets on certain nights, particularly near licensed establishments. She appears in a chefs apron and locals call her Delia.

My mate Jonno went there and pulled a girl in the old Lava&Ignite but he never got stink finger.

On to the wheel, one right prediction and 3 wrong so far, though it was close against Stoke, ruined only by our audacity to pull a goal back.

There you are, another 2 goal defeat for Saints. The transfer window is still open, right?

You forgot to mention the excellent MP at Great Yarmouth

Now TV is pretty easy… just go to ‘Sports’ from the main menu. Move down the main screen until you see ‘Competitions’ and select ‘Carabao Cup’. All live games will be shown, move along to the right and select Norwich v Saints. IMG_4737.thumb.jpeg.c2ae8407e6717196df9c2603b489b913.jpegIMG_4738.thumb.jpeg.77758e07b2767c5461775cecdce3bec4.jpegIMG_4739.thumb.jpeg.76014c0110e09e7fdbddc5e451abd860.jpeg

We went far more attacking than I’d anticipated at Northampton and still managed to be completely toothless, so I’m guessing WS will go fairly strong again.

Whatever it looks like though, he’s going to be really testing the patience of fans if he doesn’t ditch this stupid 5 at the back, unless it provides a much improved performance and result.

I don't even mind 5 at the back, although our defending has been worrying, it's more the lack of decent forward play that's bashing my banana.

Okay - overall not a bad line up, but with one issue.

WTF are we 3CBs again? Fuck me Will, you are trying people's patience.

I'm wondering whether I can be arsed bothered to go down the pub and whether they'll put it on for me. I'll get banter from some of the locals but at least Portsmouth aren't still in the competition..

It's competing against Wolves v West Ham so I should be ok unless somebody wants to watch the Hammers for the schadenfreude..

Blow it, last of the lovely evenings so I'm going: if Saints win you can thank me later..

5 at the back and no Fernandes in squad…. Just in case anyone isn’t feeling bad enough at the moment.

I expect many of the same people who will moan about lineup have also declared they don’t give a shit about this game and competition

What do we reckon will stop Stewart from stepping out on the pitch this evening?

No Fernandes, so is the inevitable happening?

I'd like to see Stewart get his first 90mins for us, it would be a good test of his condition.

The only explanation I think can be he has such little faith in his goalkeepers he has to sacrifice midfield to stick another defender in the way.

Also once again can't see where the goals will come from

Would’ve been nice to see us try the system he’s suggested we’ll filter into, but I suppose it’s challenging without a proper 10 in the squad and the need for wing-backs to create the width due to our lack of wingers.

Extremely dull team though. Nine changes from Norwich as well.

It's weird because he's never really played 3 at the back at any previous club he's been at.

It's stuff like this which makes you wonder if tactics and style/shape is being dictated above the manager, but surely not. That would be a bit too far fetched.

Funnily enough, plenty of Norwich fans aren't too happy with them moving to a 3-4-3 under the new boss Manning either.

I think Still is matching up with them in terms of shape.

No Sargent for them (also not on the bench) either. I'm not reading into Fernandes not being there, if Stephens isn't even in the squad then I think they are saving them the journey more than anything.

I’d rather not play 3 CBs as nothing so far to encourage although don’t overly give a shit if we can just start playing more cohesive football

Can't be arsed to watch another 5 at the back masterclass so will probably give this game a miss. Think it has the makings of a bore-fest.

It's been mentioned before hasn't it? Under previous managers

Sneaky bastard.

Managing them AND playing LWB for us?

SR out.

Don't know much about their side

A bit weird to me that downs isn’t starting considering stills comments saying he wasn’t ready and hadn’t got as many minutes as hoped under his belt .. maybe suggests he thinks he’s not ready to be starting then ?

Good to see Roerslev get a full debut tonight. Stewart and Archer starting together I would have thought. I personally think both Fernandes and Stephens are being rested. COYR 😊
