I’d like to see Neil Warnock in charge. Obviously never happen but he’d bin the oh so precious players and not take any SR shit

100% agree, but for those same reasons he will not get the job, we just hire junior yes men who cannot manage up ( or down)

We have played it earlier. Should have been 3-0 up .fter 50 minutes today btw, but hey, formations and managers.

You're just a troll at this point. We haven't played it at any point under this manager.

I am so fucked off with this club.

We continue with 3 CBs even though our defending is awful.

We have continued with Bazunu for 3 seasons even though he is a truly dreadful keeper.

We continue with Manning even though he can't defend.

We continue with Jack Stephens as a captain even though he is an ever present in a terrible defence. So, he can't even lead a back 4.

We continue not to buy a proper number 9 even though everyone knows we need one.

Fuck off Sports Republic, you have presided over 3.5 seasons of mediocrity, leaving us struggling in a league below you acquired the club.

Mediocrity is putting it kindly. It’s by far and away the biggest shambles the club has ever been in , for lack of acumen and leadership and actual football knowledge from the top down, ever in its history. It’s a rudderless ship and we will be fighting a relegation battle soon at this rate

It’s been rubbish. It’s been spineless. But we missed a couple of sitters. Goals change matches, misses cost matches. It’s been the problem for seasons.

Bazunu is very poor but let’s not pretend he isn’t playing behind a shambolic, disorganised and paper-thin defensive unit. Donnaruma would struggle behind that lot.

True, but if Wright and Agboola or Svensson and Claus hadn’t done their jobs and were sloppy and lazy, do you think Shilts or Antti would have been churchmice about it?

Its clear Ben Garner has been brought in to fix this type of thing and we owe him at least ten games. Ben Garner is the catalyst to turn this around.

Don't be ridiculous.

Agreed. A couple of years back he bugged me but he says it as it is.

You buy players for certain positions to play in those same positions. We haven’t done that.

Exactly why buy fellows and then stick him at right wing back. Ridiculous decisions at this club. Downs, Stephens new contract, poor 1st choice keeper who still hasn't been replaced. The list goes on

Take a bow Baz - Boro have had 5 shots on target and 4 of them went into his net. What a fucking 'keeper!

The silver lining is, he will be fine for league one soon. We will find his level by hook or crook don’t worry

Yeah I'm convinced he's a troll, he's not worth your time responding to him. Let him drift away into internet obscurity and we'll see what next username comes up with the same style in a few months.

So many weirdos out there.

That wasn't the point I was making at all.

You said that you didn't understand why fans expected us dominate every game and that we have very entitled fans. I don't understand who you are talking about as I haven't seen anyone expecting us to dominate every game and if anything I think the expectations of our fans are too low and we let the team and owners get away with too much.

No, I say that as if neither a formation or manager affected us missing sitters and then capitulating.

Can't think of a single positive thing to say about that shambles of a performance. I suppose seeing Stewart back on the pitch might just qualify as a positive (but only just).

Not one player had a good game and that has got to be down to the manager or the rest of the coaching staff. Not sure where we go from here. Thoroughly depressed.

Wasn’t the shot that didn’t go in the one he pushed out to their striker to score the rebound? Kind of an assist really

Also thought this. Clueless clueless manager, completely out of his depth - and this has been obvious for weeks.

It's one reason I don't get angry with him. Never met a fan with the majority of his opinions.

So one decent 20 minute spell in 6 games. With the rest either being utterly turgid or rubbish

Forgot to add the rider that he is the most unlucky 'keeper in the world 🙂

I'd get Jo on post match interview duty....

Yeah fair play to Jo he never minces his words, probably not as worried as Blackmore for his job he he’s too honest.

Good to see a couple of our fans there giving the squad what they deserve. A few oddballs still applauding.

His lack of communication and chat is one of his biggest faults. No coincidence that he doesn’t assert himself vocally or physically.

Today I had that familiar detached feeling from last year. I checked out earlier in the match abd just didn't really care either way. I've checked the table once this entire season so far so no idea where we are or anything like that other than the fact we are miles off where we should be. I don't want us toose but if we do continue to lose I'd rather it was heavily so that change comes more quickly. Ideally a new owner.

Azaz like a spoilt brat straight down the tunnel after a few boos from the boro fans.

Wish the players would take some ownership of that performance

Probably really regretting his move. If he was staying he'd have a better chance at reaching the prem, not that he's good enough to play there. Awful mentality from the player.

Don’t like Azaz much, fair weather player. Although not his best game today, much prefer Tom Fellows’s attitude.

Embarrassing, and we've been heading towards a thrashing since the first half against West Brom, six games ago and nothing's improving. Portsmouth is the only thing left to play for this season and in this current state we're going to get embarrassed there too.

Abysmal from top to bottom. Yet another experiment that has gone terribly wrong. Gambler's fallacy with SR, though. They'll believe they'll strike gold on the next rookie appointment.

absolute wankers

You couldn’t make it up.

I feel like this club exists purely to deliberately try and piss me off now.

Are we this years Luton?

I absolutely would not rule that out. We’ve been shit all season bar a purple patch of wins (which included a couple very streaky ones) which were classic new manager bounce. The new manager is now being tested and hasn’t got a fucking clue what to do about it.

Even if we are not, we have totally blown our very best chance at promotion.  We are now out of the premiereship for the long haul, it's a long, long road back from here.
