One of many baffling decisions. At least Ben & Tonda have fixed some of them.

He's not the quickest, nor the strongest - i think he gets knocked off it a bit...but he's tenacious, and that's what I love about him. He's always pressing, full of energy, he's your perfect press trigger in that sense. He's got good quality with the ball at his feet though, as shown by his second goal. 

I think playing him off the right is an interesting use of him, because he's not getting lost in the middle with his lack of physicality and he can get more space. I think naturally he's more central/10 type, but he's doing well.

He’s likeable as a player. It’s been ages since we’ve been able to say that about many of ours. He works hard and seems committed. He has some technical ability and puts himself about despite not being the most obviously physical.

Easy to say when we’re on a run of good results but since January it’s felt like there is more of a bond between the team and the fans. I’m willing Stewart to stay fit and fire us to the play offs. Larin to prove his doubters wrong and get to the World Cup. Leo to keep dancing, dribbling and hitting worldies. Peretz has a touch of the mad goalie about him and seems to have real drive. 
 

It’s a ramble but most of us couldn’t give a flying fig about who left after we came back down. Now? I actually quite like a lot of the squad and Matsuki absolutely epitomises this. He’s had to wait for a chance but he’s taken it and added serious competition for places.

He's certainly developing very well and has gone from a fringe player to one who wouldn't look out of place in the starting XI. A good alternative to Fellows if we want a more direct goal threat.

He's a decent player and great option around the squad. Love the energy and tenacious play!

Enjoyed seeing his goals in the highlights and he shows promise for the future. Can someone please tell Jo Tessem, the lad's name is not Matski?

Agree with this and I'd say it's largely since the Pompey game. Everyone was expecting our players to wilt and crumble, but they didn't and actually put in a proper shift and stood up to be counted. We've been good since.

The additions of Peretz and Larin, and Bree coming back and playing well have made a huge difference. We're starting to look like a team again.

Aside from that Jo is a horrible commentator, he s not very articulate.

He's surprisingly good in the air as he showed last night and I think he also scored another good header in another match...maybe the Doncaster cup tie. Has a decent spring on him.

Said at the time that the Pompey game would be season defining but I was thinking more from a result perspective. Actually, it's the stand up and be counted ethic that seems to be have got in to the team which has really moved us forward...combined with the change in personnel and formation. And Matsuki is one of the players getting more game time.

I think we are a much weaker team when he starts. His positional sense is terrible, he has no pace to beat a man and is easily bypassed. I don’t know what his natural position would be, I feel it would probably be a no10 where he could use his abilities to greater effect.

Decent as a sub but not good enough as a starter for me.

Agree with this. Think this little experiment should be put to bed now. Totally anonymous last night. Although nobody really had a decent game.

Similar goal to his against Leicester. Teams seem to forget he's in the box until it's too late. I thought he was a short player but he's not far off six foot so I'm not sure why they're missing him.

Didn’t Tonda say recently that teams don’t mark him? Won the header unmarked for the first corner of the game, leading to Larin’s good chance.

The Japanese sent out 12 recce planes to search for the US carriers, one on each segment of a clock face. 1 plane had an engine malfunction and was therefore late setting off - the one that was heading straight to the USN. It finally detected 2 of the carriers, but it's radio failed, so it could not report their position until it got back to it's own fleet, by which time the Americans were attacking.

As for the American planes, the decisive dive bomber squadronn failed to find the Japanese and was at the point of turning back when they spotted a Japanese destroyer going at high speed. They played a hunch that it was trying to catch up with the main strike force so turned along it's course, and sure enough a few minutes later the fatal 5 minutes that destroyed three Japanese carriers were enacted.
