We can blame it on a soggy pitch or the linesman but ultimately, it was the heavy rotation that prevented us from winning today. Victims of our own success I suppose.

Always a long shot to win out but a draw afer playing so badly is not to be sniffed at.  Play-offs guaranteed that almost no-one would have seen 2 mnths ago.

Onwards to the Cup semi....we will have to play miles better to just not get hammered

I called this as the banana skin in the automatic promotion chase thread. Sooner or later you guys are going to start listening. Sentiment has always been an Achilles heel of this club, one of many. Archer starting killed the game before it started. Hes been all over the club’s socials like it’s some little charity operation that wants an excuse to hand out participation trophies. This one is on Tonda. No room for sentiment when you are pushing for promotion.

Also his preference for Wood over Quarshie is just plain weird.

Ah well. We tried at the end. Reckon Bristol were a well organised team that pressed us. We were a bit anxious or tired.

 

The players have been on a hell of a run. We managed to catch up with Millwall and Ipswich but it was just a bit too much to ask.

Blame it on Still.

We looked tired

Still unbeaten. I think, as others have said, it might not be the worst result. Keeping pushing when Millwall have those fixtures is probably self destructive. Fa cup, chill in other fixtures, then focus on playoffs

Also, need to sort out the slipping

Positives: Came back twice to keep us in it, still unbeaten on this run, play offs guaranteed, no obvious injuries and no red cards. 

Negatives: Can't play like that in the play offs, if we beat Ipswich it could just hand second to Millwall rather than help us now. Ref was utter shit.

Draw a fair result unfortunately. 

Go all out against City on Saturday, hopefully get a win against Ipswich to cement 4th place and we can rest players against Preston.

Charles wasn't particularly great tonight - did some really good defending and then gave the ball away needlessly too many times. As for that sliced shot....

End of day, Saints were tired and didn't have their best game. The number of games has caught up with them. 

Still managed to grind out a draw against aside that weren't at the beach and probably wanted to make up for their drubbing on the weekend.

We weren't good tonight but even so Charles should have won it for us. Tonda gets little wrong but I think he put out the wrong starting eleven tonight allowing them to boss much of the first half so we didn't make the fast start we needed. 2nd is likely gone now but it's been an amazing run and we are still unbeaten. Brizzle always seem to ruin our fun.

Thought we looked disjointed, charles had a bad game but he saved us a lot recently so balances out.

Thought Azaz, Charles, Wood, Archer were off it.

Better the team gets its head in the game now about being in the playoffs rather int he last week or 2 and being disappointed.

Leciester will now have the best training ground in League 1, ballers.
