About 1500 left 1000 of which are either side of the away fans.

I meant the away game, can see the home tickets.

Only saints could make a new away end and make it bigger than it actually needs to be.

Also pretty frustrating that they can find a segregation solution when we need to give more tickets (Arsenal in the cup for example) but can’t find a solution when they could have sold more tickets to Saints fans.

Surely at the bare minimum they could have found a way to sell block 28 to saints fans?

I think the concourses are an issue. In theory you could have half of 27 used for segregation and then the Saints fans can use the normal turnstiles and concourse and access.

But I think an entrance makes up part of that block so you'd have to staff it inside the concourse to stop away fans using it.

More seat sales windows tomorrow. In 30 minute stages.

Not wholly convinced they'll even make the morning, looks like there's only about 200 left. Unless of course the club are going to chuck another 100 player/staff comps back onto the pile...

Got to charge away fans more to pay for all the freebies that are dished out on a scale never seen before until recent seasons.

Got his moustache caught in the electronic turnstile?

Or they might have declined to provide a bespoke space in the bike racks for his Penny Farthing.

I once saw one of those being ridden around Freemantle after a beer festival at the Waterloo Arms. Surely Hopback beers aren’t THAT strong I thought to myself….

Those fans who don’t want to go up because we are “not ready” or and those that want to stay in the championship because it’s better - do they want to lose to boro or at Wembley ?

Anyone that doesn’t want us up is absolutely bonkers.

Of course everyone wants to go up.

But there's no denying that the championship is more "fun".

As a supporter who always want to win games and your club to play at the highest level. Also thr money will help the club massively. It is easy to get stuck in the Championship and become a nothing club. On the flip side of this I cannot stand the premier league, so you can be on both sides of this.

I can't actively want us to lose but I'm not going to particularly gutted after a day if we do.

The championship is more “fun” at the moment because we have one of the best squads and biggest budgets. If we stay down here it will quickly become miserable as we lose more money and players.

12:30 kick offs are a pain in the bum. Why not 3pm? Is it just because of tv as there is only the premier league left. Just means instead of leaving at 12:30 for a 3pm kick off, so will need to set off at 10:00 🙄

I want Saints to be as successful as we can possibly be....but my God i fucking hated last season and despise most of the over-hyped Premier League , SKY TV, super Sundays, VAR, "big 6" , corporate stadiums , oil money , 115 charges nonsense

Days out at places like Preston are a great reminder there's plenty of life in the game away from the Premier league circus

If we go up then we'd have had a brilliant few weeks and another day at Wembley but I wont be too upset if stay down, Lincoln away ole ole

yes its fun when we have much better players and cash to fund it but once that goes next year it will be as fun as herpes.

It’s fun when you’re winning, not when you’re Stoke or Blackburn…

People that have never kicked a ball in a match before spouting shit on the internet. It gets worse every year. Not helped by the ridiculous over-analysis of MoTD, Sky etc. I still watch MoTD, but just the highlights, fast forward the "analysis", ridiculous bollocks.

Agree with this.

Only reason I want promotion right now is money and I'd like to see many of the players we have, next season. Other than that, I'd be happy to win promotion but say "no thanks" and stay in the Championship (with the same players).

Premier League is also quite fun when you're winning

And I don't recall anyone here having fun back in early November

Kinda. Coventry, Boro, Millwall & Hull have been down a while and this season have proved you don't need to have PL parachute money to get near the top.

Clearly many people find it more enjoyable, for a whole range of reasons it is more fun.  Of course winning helps, but its certainly not as black and white as that.  Being able to celebrate a goal without VAR checks alone beats everything the Premier League can offer for me.  Others don't mind VAR or some might even like it, but there are plenty of us who despise it.

Pretty sure we had fun and enjoyed the Premier League when we were beating Sunderland 8-0, Chelsea 3-1 away, Villa 6-1 and Man Utd 1-0 at Old Trafford two years in a row. The difference being then we had a great manager and good players. I’m confident that if we go up Tonda and Spors will get us heading back in that direction again.

God,please. We actually have a chance to fight at the next level. Hull, Millwall, and Boro will be right back if they go up.

From using my eyes Tonda is one of the most tactically astute managers we have had in a long time. Just because it’s not an obvious/stuborn system like Martin or Hellberg are, doesn’t mean you’re not particularly tactical.

Tonda’s flexibility tactically got us within 8 mins (plus added time) of an FA Cup final and the most points in the league since he joined. He’s been a revelation and is already getting links to Bundesliga jobs. This clown criminally underrates him and I’m hoping he serves up another tactical win for this guy to enjoy.

We live in opposite world. I'd say that Tonda is more tactical with how he sets up and fluid with how he does things than any other of our managers in recent history. It's true he isn't wedded to a particular system like Martin but that's just dumb anyway and rigid. I saw some people on social media who said they'd watched some of our recent games but I'd very much argue that some of those matches we were managing games due to tiredness and just getting through.

Only because we're winning. 08/09 getting relegated from the championship wasn't more fun than 14/15 finishing 6th in the Prem.

Speak for yourself, ripping up the league with Jan Poortvliet at the wheel and Lee Holmes tearing apart defences was peak Saints 🤣.

If we go up, there's no way we'll be as bad as last season in the Prem.  The fact we have 5 or 6 players that would be snapped up by Prem teams if we don't go up suggest that.  We didn't have such a list 2 years ago.  If we go up and also spend wisely in the summer, we stand a good chance of staying up

And then the big clubs come and poach all of your good players and manager and send you back to where you came from.

How fun.

As opposed to being in the championship where the bigger clubs come and poach all your good players and manager and you fall even lower. How fun.

Footballs all about ups and downs for all except a few. Look at the teams challenging for Europe again this season - Bournemouth, brentford, Brighton. Absolutely no reason we can't build to that again.

As we've shown this season against a quarter of next season's PL teams: Arsenal, Man City, Fulham, Coventry and Ipswich.

The team that went up under Martin, were beaten 0-3 by Liverpool in the FA Cup, lost twice to both Ipswich (0-1 and 2-3) and Leicester (1-4 and 0-5) and finished 9 points off the automatic places. They never looked anywhere near good enough for the Premier League.

Unless you’re literally Real Madrid, your players will get poached in any league in the world.

How fun.

Between 2014 and 2016, all our best players were being poached and then we replaced them with better players making a massive profit in the process.  Brighton are doing that now year on year.  We even had a manager who got us finishing 8th poached but replaced him with Koeman who gave us 7th and 6th placed finishes

No there will still some available 10 mins ago, I know someone got one with 12 aways, on sale now to 11 aways.

Anyone who's been to 1 Boro game, home or away, can buy 4 tickets. The problem is that you'd have to have bought the ticket from them. But, I guess it means a fair few will be going to ticket touts.

Middlesbrough FC
From 2pm this afternoon, supporters with 2+ Priority Points will be able to purchase up to 3 additional tickets per account.

(You get 3 priority points for 1 Boro home game and 2 for an away game).

I’m surprised it’s gone down to that level with 4 tickets per account for such a big game. Our support is underrated, we’ve sold out St Mary’s to STHs and 24 hours of members sale.

My mate had same issue and had to call up, apparently they've had a few not recognising away game count properly, might be the quick movement between windows. Give them a call, good luck
