I know a couple who have worked with him and by the end of his time at Burnley he was more interested in flogging collectors watches to his players than trying to find tactical solutions or mixing up the training sessions

Let's hope this rumour of 6 months is bullshit, would be utterly ludicrous if that's what he gets, but nothing would surprise me at this point. With the bellends coming out again in the press and social media calling for him to be hung, drawn and quartered, I can't help feeling the club should have been far more forthright in the last couple of weeks making a vocal argument that there's no way that severe a punishment would even be on the table if it was a bigger, more "fashionable" club (even a West Ham, Spurs, Leeds, etc).

It is legal. It's fine to do it on Wednesday but not on a Thursday. It's a bonkers rule and Championship teams should be told to put up a fence if they think their routines are worth keeping secret.

Isn't this the equivalent of a player caller for an opponent to be shown a yellow or red card? Surely a case of bringing the game into disrepute.

There's an obvious difference. Teams are more likely to train in the way that they'll play closer the the game, hence the cut off. Regardless, and as said many times, it's irrelevant if the rule is daft, it's the rule. All we had to do was comply with it, or breach it without getting caught.

Just reading up about this Canada drone scandal which often gets dragged up.

From what I can gather, during the investigation it was discovered that the incident during the Olympics wasn't a one off and that it had been happening over a much longer period. So that's where the 12 month ban for the manager came in.

If it just these three incidents we're involved then maybe a total ban won't be applied.

Ignoring the noise and hyperbole, it seems to me from most normal, neutral fans that the appropriate sanction is a touchline ban and a large fine. We'll see what happens today.

And yet we did it on Thursday. If it's a bonkers rule, there would be no need to break it but we did, so it's pretty obvious it exists for a reason.

I don't recall seeing any specific timings within Tonda's instructions to the analyst reported anywhere before... Any link to a quote on that?

Premier league has VAR, the EFL does not. La Liga impose a rule that a player must have a minimum fee release clause....we dont in England...
