I remember on here the jokes about him constantly scuffing shots

Wasn't that Adams? It all stemmed from someone pointing out when we signed him that a lot of the goals in his highlights reel were scuffed.

Load of old AI pony…

He probably doesn’t even know he’s posted it. Just his PR machine at work. At least make it look authentic by behaving it strewn with spelling mistakes and bad grammar!!

By Adam. Shame you tarnished it all by your lousy attitude.

Still, hope he does alright in his Wolves in the Championship stint before not really doing it in the Prem again.

He must have been frustrated waiting for the ball while the back five played keep ball. I guess he had enough hanging around for a pass and wanted to jump ship.

You are the only one that has suggested or even alluded to him having a bad attitude 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Who are you gonna have a vendetta for next?

Move on, it’s embarrassing.

Agro much? Was it only DT that questioned AA's attitude? I thought Alfie speculated that he was part of the rot...

I can infer that this window may have been about attitude. Between ABK, Aribo, Baz, AA, weeman... the latter were all part of that Martin clique, yes? A lot of speculation on my part; we will never know. I hold no ill will to the player. But if he starts pulling up trees at Wolves, then I'll think less of him. If he doesn't hit it off, then I will think he isn't good and will think less of him. <shrug>

Lovely touch.

i was up at Goodison for this first goal and will never forget that great day at Wembley - both his excellent winner and when he started celebrating slightly too early near the end.

I wish him well for the future. The criticism was always that he needed several chance to finish accurately so it’s ironic that he finishes his note with a stray apostrophe.

He was great at Goodison on his debut. Got a chance in a similar position against Man U a week later and hit it low and to close to De Gea. That's when I realised that he wasn't a clinical finisher, just a typical english forward.

After that he was dissapointing until the promotion season.

He was definitely a player who needed lots of chances to score one goal, but then so was Phil Boyer. Boyers movement in the box  was far superior, always nipping in before the defender to get a shot in.

AA was generally just waiting for the cross to reach him.

In his last match, he was screaming at  Leo to square the ball to him, even when a defender had caught up with him and was blocking any possible pass.

Luckily Leo ignored him !

Good luck at Wolves, and thanks for the effort Adam.

That's a bit rich, considering the slop you put out on a daily basis here

That's not AI though, it's all home made slop.

Probably the right time for him and us.
Don’t buy this bad egg stuff, but who knows. Never reached the heights we all hoped, but always seemed to put a shift in and scored some important goals.
None more so than THAT goal which will stay with me forever and which I’ll always be grateful. Having put my boys through the disappointment of previous Wembley finals it was special to have that rare winning feeling.
Good luck Arma.

He tried hard for us, could never say he didnt. Top championship scorer and got put into a shite PL team. Good luck to the guy, always thought he was a good professional. Remember being behind his goal against Leeds at Wembley. Scenes......
