Go down a pub with Sky and spend the money on three pints. You might not see a Saints win but at least you'll have had three pints..

Bet the money on another failure to win, have a few nights out on the winnings.

Unless Bristol City score minus one then a draw is the best we can hope for. Thankfully the Englands Women cricket team can score and provide excellent entertainment.

Expecting a 3 at the back masterclass, fellows at RWB, Manning at LWB (maybe),  a point at best with people telling us we are going in the right direction.

all whilst Azaz costs more than their entire starting 11 (or not far off)

What pub nr Ashton gate is everyone going to?

Stick with same starting 11 from Sat and limited subs and don't issue open goals. Perhaps players need to shoot at empty goal in warm up.

The Bristol Beer Factory taproom is only 5 mins away and well worth checking out.

Personally I'd probably go to Wapping Wharf as there's tons of food and drink options, then a 20-ish minute stroll along the river.

OR (time allowing), head from Temple Meads to the exceptional Left Handed Giant taproom on the river, then crawl down King Street.

(Beer Emporium, The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Small Bar).

You can get a bus from there that takes you more or less straight to the ground.

Whilst sat on the bench, having travelled 300 miles from his former club who are top of the league, playing lovely free flowing football where he enjoyed getting assists and goals, to come and wallow in lower Championship obscurity and get bored to death with us. And he'll even get to watch his mates play in the PL next season, he must be well happy! 🙂

They can, why not? After all we scored -4 on Saturday.

I’ve just been reminded that 9 years ago today over 7,000 of us were in Milan about to watch us play Inter at the San Siro, today around half of that number will watch us (probably) struggle away in a lower second division tussle………

I remember a 0-3 win at Ashton Gate in an early league cup round game. Must have been around 2002?

Anyway, it wont be a 0-3 away win tomorrow. Draw at best.

Yes I was there, was a good away day. IIRC Beatts and Le Saux were among the scorers.

I'm pretty sure we haven't won there since, proper bogey ground. No confidence we'll turn that around tonight.

My Firestick's kaput.  Anybody still using streams?  Any links to any sites that may come good for tomorrow evening?

Cheers.

If you're happy to pay, you can just get the matches via the club - although you do then have to listen to Blackmore and Tessem's commentary.

I looked into that but it was showing as just audio commentary for this game.  I would be more than happy to pay the club.

I actually enjoy Blackmore and Tessem.  It's like standing next to random people in the pub.

I don't think that the video option is available in the UK.

I lived in Bristol for many years - if you like real ale/cider and proper boozers then The Bag o’Nails in Hotwells is a must - it’s about twenty mins walk from the ground and away from any football crowds. The Grain Barge (another  Bristol BF place) is on your way and, if walking that way, there is always the Nova Scotia by Cumberland Basin. Those were always my go-to pre/post Ashton Gate pubs - parking is a little easier that side of the river(s) as well

You can use a VPN to be in another country.

The choice of pubs in King Street is awesome. But I’d go for Bristol Beer Factory tap out of all those options.
13 minute walk according to Google Maps https://www.bristolbeerfactory.co.uk/pages/the-bbf-tap-room?srsltid=AfmBOorxF9yRJZdrVc8vMOe94ZJ9C_nfCuaafTU2NwdY_eMV7xuZ32T8

I’d probably sack the game off too and stay in there.

Yep! Some of the youth were acting all tipsy even on that! The Birrificio Lambrate after the game was all Saints fans free spending and well behaved; amazing how the beer homing instinct drew us all there!

They've got lots of cats roaming about inside too. Bonus....if you like that sort of thing.

Why the fuck is Fellows not starting? Baffled.

Because we desperately need "the right kind of winger" TM.

We have Roerslev who has played 100+ games in the premier league for Brentford but can't get in the team ahead of Fraser at RWB either?

Can only assume he's not fit as he's not even on the bench.

I'm not surprised - Roerslev is fucking terrible.

When was the last time Saints comfortably won a game? I mean, being 3 up with a couple of minutes left sort of comfortable. Mind you, even then I'd be worried.

Tonight? Saints to take the lead twice. 2-2.

It wasn't about if he's good or not. The point is recruitment hasn't been good enough if Fraser is starting as our RWB.

Our recruitment team are fucking mental

I’d love to be a saints scout, easiest job in the world. Just get pissed up and do magic lushrooms all day

I know he had a couple of dodgy games, but he looked really good on his debut at Norwich. Clearly a good player for this level and I'd rather have him in than Fraser. He must be injured to not even make the bench.

Fraser is a pretty good wing back, didn’t he play there in the playoff final and the games leading up to it?

Meanwhile Bree is looking like the best RB in the league so far at Charlton. Agree it’s a bit wild we get rid of 2 RBs, bring in 2 and still end up playing Fraser there.

The last league game we won by more than one goal was against Preston the season we got promoted.

I believe that the last we were 2 goals up was just over a year ago against Leicester at St Marys. As I recall, we lost that 3-2. It would a strange feeling now to be leading a game by more than a single goal, would be even nicer to win one by 2 or 3 !

Does seem a bit strange to not play Fellows in the position he came on at the weekend. But that too would’ve been a square peg in a round hole so meh. Struggling to have enthusiasm to watch it, might stick bake off on instead.

Roerslev not getting in speaks volumes.

I think we have to accept that Edozie and Aribo won’t feature again.

2-2 I reckon for this game, I think we’ll click again up top, but in no way are we keeping a clean sheet.
