So Portsmouth v Wrexham is the Sky main match but Saints is available too. Do I go down to my usual PO area village pub with multiple screens where they can show more than one match..? The barman is an amiable lad and the regulars, even the footballing crowd, are fine..

At least it's not too far to walk if I have to come home early.

Get a firestick and enjoy the pain alone. Sit in it, let it wash over you. 😭

It's like the actual manager sent his son out to do the interview

If the players didn't buy into WS then they definitely aren't going to for TE. Maybe one day hell be a decent manager but i just hope we dont appoint him. I dont want the tram to lose but if he wins the next 2 games i fear he may be become  permanent and we’ll rue the day

It's a tough ask for someone new to come in and maintain the standards we've been blessed by in recent times. Expect an even more disjointed effort. Lallana to be caretaker by Monday.

How do you know that they were told NOT to do that, but then did it anyway because they didn’t want to take responsibility on the ball?

Would be a bit strange when it hasn’t been a tactic of ours under recent managers, then a new manager comes in and the players off their own backs decide to start lumping balls long to short men. Wouldn’t really make any sense.

Saints (3-4-2-1): Bazunu; Harwood-Bellis, Stephens, Wood; Fellows, Jander, Downes, Manning; Scienza, Robinson; Armstrong

Bench: McCarthy, Roerslev, Edwards, Quarshie, Aribo, Bragg, Matsuki, Azaz, Downs

That is a fucking mental lineup.

Bazunu, Fellows next to shoehorn and Manning in the same back 5 🤢

Home win

Doesn't fill me with confidence. I feared a new manager would mean we'd get another manager in who needs to learn Bazunu is our weaker goalkeeper of the two, Armstrong can't play centre-forward and we don't need to shoehorn Stephens into a back three to get him into the team. Leave him on the bench and play two centre-backs. We're still persisting with this three centre-back shite and one of our better attackers in Tom Fellows as a right wing-back.

Good to see Robinson back in the starting team, but these aren't the changes we wanted with the sacking of Still.

Anyone at Loftus Road you could witness a miracle win for Saints. Keep us updated if there is any difference from the Preston game, change in tempo and pace, less sideways and back passing,  10 shots on target, no short corners etc. Any real improvement in commitment from players.

Shoehorn back. Maybe he was the captain that went to the owner about the manager.

I would be willing to have a bet on that being the case yes, probably him and Nivea boy

Shame it's not 442 with Stephens RB and Leo/Arma up top, Fellows and Robinson wide. Wishful thinking obviously

ok i am a bit gobsmacked about the keeper change, Mccarthy is not great but he's done nothing to warrant getting dropped. Maybe the new tactics are win as many corners as possible and baz will come up for them and score a hatful.

Did us a favour by explaining the obvious to the clowns in charge you mean?

Much as expected. Bazunu and McCarthy are pretty similar, different strengths and frailities.

Stephens gets his chance again, he was the best of a bad lot (low low bar) at the start of the season. Certainly brings more than Edwards.

Don't like the formation but that was never changing.

Good to see Robinson start

That line-up but with an actual right back makes so much more sense than this 5 at the back nonsense.

Is Bazunu in for his heading ability should we get a last minute corner?

He can’t be in for his goalkeeping surely.

I would start him up front plus keepers can walk a ball forward and not backwards.

Could easily be in the relegation places by the time the next candidate for the sack is installed. Stephens being restored tells me that he was the moaning "senior" player who went crying to daddy.

I guess at least Fellows might play as an actual wing back?

But he's not which is the problem with him playing that position in the first place. He needs to be further up the field. I think it's generally an issue with Azaz as well, we aren't utilising them properly

Could be a 442 with Stephens at right back? Anything other than that is just pure fucking mental!!

Anyway, even with a Chair upfront for QPR it'll be too much for our lot to deal with.

I’m are really starting to think this 3/5 at the back shit is being dictated to the manager.

100%,  the data suggests this is best option
