Fun summer ahead 🫤 Larin and Peretz simply end their loans. 1

Makes me laugh when these pundits start talking about protecting the integrity of football. Sitch up. End of. It was way over the top, it's a ridiculous punishment and I don't think it's quite over yet - in terms of us going after the EFL again in the future. But I won't ever forgive those at the club who felt something like this would give us any form of advantage, and why they risked it in the way they did. They've seemingly been blatant about it, like it's all a big joke to them. They're the ones who need to be punished here, properly punished. 10

My thoughts are with you tonight.🙏 It is time to rebuild the club brick by brick...🙂↕️ Allez Southampton ! 12

I don’t work in PR but the first thing should be recompensate fans, and not just for Wembley. You watch them hold onto the booking fee too. Complete lunatics out of touch of all reality. The biggest shame for me as it appeared for the first time in a long time we had a really good spine of a team for a few seasons to come. Our players will want to get as far away from this mess as quickly as they can, and who would blame them? Embarrassing at every level. Yep. I was convinced that the way this squad had gone toe to toe with Fulham, Arsenal and City, would be able to make a real go of it next season if promoted. That’s been ripped apart from us in the cruelest of ways now. Theres no way we’d have managed to spy on that lot, so why the fuck did we feel the need to do it to lesser sides, especially with the video footage available. Just shambolic from top to bottom. Really don’t know where to go from here. All that time, money and emotion invested into watching us this season and this is how it ends. Good luck @Whitey Grandad with your fight. We seem obsessed with going with youth in all aspects, trying to do this new modern approach to everything. Experience matters, as we saw in the second half of this season in relation to the likes of Bree, Larin and Peretz coming in down the spine. But the inexperience across multiple layers at the club has cost us here. Very, very foolish and naive. 6

StrangelyBrown Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A young manager and a young analyst have done something stupid and we've been punished for it. I don't condone what they've done at all, but equally think they shouldn't be hung out to dry. The punishment is what it is. It needs to be applied consistently going forwards. A precedent has been set, but you can bet your bottom dollar that certain clubs will continue to get away with cheating and there will be no consistency. I'm not cross with the club, nor the EFL. I'm just disillusioned with football in general, a game I love that is sadly broken because it's run by wankers who love status and money and couldn't give a shit about us fans or the volunteer based system that props football up. Having said that I'll undoubtedly be back for more punishment next year! 8
