Most Presidents have managed to win a second term. Not Trump, who has also managed to lose the popular vote again by even more. You could feel the world breath a sigh of relief when the result was announced. Not because Biden won, but because this clown was out of the door at last. I noticed earlier that a regular poster here made a disparaging remark about Hilary Clinton. How anybody could think that Trump was somehow a more worthy candidate is beyond comprehension. Still, on the plus side, he proved beyond any shadow of doubt that he is exactly the type of narcissistic, stupid, divisive, self serving, lying, xenophobic bully that most sane people took him for before the last election.

It has been so refreshing to see someone stand on that podium and not spew out Let’s Make America Great Again rhetoric. Whatever you think of Biden, at least he is a grown up who accepts that the US does not exist in a bubble. Another plus is that he obviously has Johnson pegged. America has a President who wears “big boy pants” again. Sadly we still have to wait a few years before we get someone similar in charge.

It's all unravelling now. 

Turns out the disputed ballots in PA total no more than 10k, and Biden's lead is currently around 48k, so even if the GOP succeed in getting those ballots discounted, it won't make a shred of difference. 

The sworn affidavits from people claiming they were prevented from observing the count are mostly just people complaining they couldn't get as close as they wanted to due to Covid. 

So what does Donny do? Fires the 3 most senior people in the Department of Defense and puts a fence up around the Whitehouse. 

Be afraid America. Whatever comes next won't be pretty at all.

As soon as the States validate the election results, the Republicans will move against Trump. They are playing along (for the moment) because they don't want to alienate his base. Some in the Ruplican party will want to push the discrediting of the election result for as long as hard as they can. To set up a narrative that they can ride next time and the polarisation of the US will continue. Some Republicans I believe think they haven't got to moderate their offer but can rely on the energised base and find more voters not from the middle floating voter but from new voters, afterall there's another third of possible voters to mobilise.
