Does anyone know why CNN have Trump on 213 and every other channel has 214? No state has one vote. Surely if mistake would have been corrected by now - not like a low focus story!

Its probably to do with either Nebraska or Maine - both of whom can split their electoral colleges and give 1 vote to the other party depending on results in different parts of the state. Maybe CNN are forecasting outcome differently

It's Maine, I was watching CNN earlier when they mentioned it.

I'm really not usually the type to wish ill on anyone, but if there is anyone less deserving of my sympathy in this world it is DJT.

The fallout from all of this is going to be fascinating and entertaining to watch.

One of the reasons he is so determined not to go anywhere. His Presidential status and immunity is worth a lot to him!

See how easily Giulliani was duped by a dead simple honey trap - whether he was wanking off or adjustjng his mic, what's he doing heading into the bedroom with her and jumping on the bed? - and do people really believe mobsters, Russians etc. don't have a lot of crap on Trump and his cohorts? The FBI will be all over him unless some sort of deal is done, and he's probably bankrupt again without a new TV deal or other venture. In a few years he'll probably be a dribbling wreck anyway.

Not a good time to be "balls of steel" Donald.

How's this for a theory - lifted from the comments section of the Express:  "Joe Biden wins, Trump to make a deal with Pence, He is going to step down as President and let Pence be President until inauguration of Biden, and in return Pence as President will Pardon Trump and his family of their wrongdoings during his Presidency"

In other words, a repeat of what vice-president Gerald Ford did for Richard Nixon after his resignation in 1974.   Quite plausible.  But it won't get Trump off the hook because so many of his criminal-legal troubles are at state-level, and so beyond the reach of a presidential pardon, and so many of his civil-legal problems are to do with his cataclysmic finances, which are also beyond the scope of any escape hatch like this.  Trump could still end up in prison and a bankrupt.

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving case. In my opinion.

Be interesting to see how the US handles Trump after he's kicked out of office regarding his criminal activities. His presidency has brought shame upon the most powerful nation, he's little more than a pampered, narcissistic misogynistic facist who has taken the country back 50 years, although I will say he's never wavered from his original dogma that attracted so many Americans to vote him in first time round. What did for him this time around was maybe the Covid idiocy, who knows, most Americans very rarely look beyond their own borders when equating world events (there be dragons etc..), and the "America first" mantra , in the light of the Covid crisis, disintegrated into a fiasco, with individual states bidding against each other for PPE on Ebay, then being outbid by the Federal Govt. States that did aquire PPE deliveries had to hide them away for fear on confiscation by a military force directed by people in shades all called Johnson.

The f****r will get away with though, old age will will do for him much sooner than the US legal system can get it's act together.

Some weird and frightening stories coming out;

A police captain has resigned after he posted on social media that he wanted Democrat supporters beheaded, and their heads set on spikes as a warning.

In Atlanta an election worker has gone into hiding after he was videod, presumably by one of the observers, throwing away a scrap of waste paper - the person returning the voting forms had included the instructions on how to fill in the forms. The video was posted on social media, which incorrectly identified the piece of paper as a ballot form. The worker has received death threats, as his name, address, and car registration have been widely circulated.

Trump has just announced legal challenges starting Monday. He isnt going to concede.

Yes but not heard anyone say they have any credibility and are frivolous vanity move. Just plays to his moronic base. Even the most Republican judge isn’t going to hear a case.

Seems like a lot of Republicans are distancing themselves from Trump now anyway.

By the time the counting is over Biden will be so far ahead I can't see how the court cases will change much.

There’s precious little loyalty in politics. Now his presidency is on its death bed, he ceases to be useful to people’s own careers. Even the most hardcore republican politicians aren’t as blinkered as Trump’s gun-toting, inbred fan base.

Oh I agree. I just think he'll do all he can to put bumps in the road.

Melania is probably already on the blower to her divorce lawyer.

I love watching her whenever there’s a Trump press conference. She walks out with a fake ‘miss USA’ pageant smile, then it slips for a second and she puts on a look of absolute thunder. Poor girl, all she wanted was a sugar daddy.

I really hope Biden does live up to what he has pledged and be the president for all Americans. If he does what Hilary would have done then all its going to do is encourage more to vote for someone even more radical. Hopefully he can be a moderating influence on both sides.

Apparently (according to Fox) he has proposed having Republicans serve in his administration.  ,

Bit like Gina Miller then.

Well no, nothing like that. Because Gina Miller was just trying to ensure that the government followed the rule of law and not make it up as they went along.

If you really can't see the difference between that and an obviously vexatious attempt to discredit the democratic process by a narcissist whose ego will not allow him to accept that not everyone in the US loves him as much as he thought they did, then you need to take your blinkers off.

I think that would be a really good idea. Let's hope something like that will occur rather than either side being antagonistic towards the other and simply causing greater division. Although Biden seems past it imo, he's certainly better and more moderate than someone like bernie sanders or Elizabeth Warren.

Go easy on Duckie. He is clearly grieving for Trump as his right wing fantasy world is beginning to fall apart. He is posting more and more nonsense.

Let him grief in peace and engage him in debate once he has recovered.

It is a truly thick **** who thinks that Biden is a better option for the UK. You may not like Trump (can’t say I do myself) but as a President, he wanted to maintain the special relationship and in particular, strike a good trade deal.....Biden? He refused to speak to the BBC tonight saying “I’m Irish” before walking off and he’s already threatened us over Brexit (Obama said we’d be back of the queue.

Let the woke muppets have their socialist USA, I will be sitting back and laughing as it all inevitably goes tits up.
Lesson: Be careful what you wish for.

Trump didn’t give a shite about us, any deal he struck would have just ended up with us getting butt fucked.

The whole World is better off without that petulant, bullshitter in charge of a superpower.

A good trade deal for who?

It would take an even thicker cunt to think that a trade deal with a shark like Trump would actually work in the UK's favour.

If Biden's election means Johnson gets shown up on the international stage as the hopeless chancer he is then, in the long term, that can only be a good thing IMO.

The era of these fucking idiot populists scratching each other's backs needs to be consigned to history.

They just showed that on the BBC and it was just a joke. He was walking away when the reporter asked for a quick word for the bbc, he just said I’m Irish and laughed. You snowflakes shouldn’t be so easily offended.

What exactly is 'special' about the relationship between the UK and the USA ? They kicked us out in 1776, invaded British Canada in 1812 and 1815, came into WW1 3 years late, only came into WW2 when Japan attacked them and Hitler was mad enough to declare war on them - ( and the US ambassador in London, Pres Kennedy's father, was pro Nazi ), and screwed us over with Lease-Lend, ( we only paid off their loans in 2006 )..

And if Biden is a Socialist, Tony Blair was an extremist Communist.

( PS; Our oldest ally is Portugal. )
