I will get the shuttle bus from the station to St Marys. The last train back is 11pm, probably a silly question but as it's a 9.45pm(ish)   finish, can anyone let me know how busy the shuttles are after the game, would I get to the station in plenty of time? Will be a piece of piss getting to station for that time. The shuttle bus will get you there quite early

We’d ponce not pounce. Ponce about long enough to lose the ball and let the opposition pounce.

I’m glad the worst of that is behind us now.. but we still see a little ponce now and again, when we play Charlton.

I’d quite like to see Edozie play tonight, for either Fellows or Azaz. Would require a bit of tinkering with the forward line though. Other than that, unchanged.

And we are the main game on Sky which means that they will actually be dispatching a commentator to SMS rather than doing it from Stockley Park as is the case for the red button games.

Still not over that kick in the nuts Saturday brought. Every time we amble to the edge of getting somewhere. we quickly fuck it up. Its getting rather tedious. Qpr look average and not particularly interested in doing anything this season, so I imagine this will be a draw.

It will be an interesting game tonight. After their mauling at the valley, Charlton were set up to not lose. Credit to the mad Nat he did a good job.

QPR sit level with us. If they have any aspirations for the play offs, they are going to have to be more open than Charlton.

That will present both opportunities and threats. Should be a good test of where Saints sit.

Assuming no new injuries, I’d like to see us start with the same line up as on Saturday. Go strong, go and win. Don’t make changes for the sake of it like Saturday - stats driven subs which are clearly pre-planned I don’t like. Let’s go and win the game before we go making changes for a change!

Worry about tonight, not the dead rubber game against Wednesday on Saturday.

Yes, got to get away from the automatic changes after 60 minutes, 70 minutes etc. Tonda's sometimes guilty of following the mantra, if it's not broke, consider breaking it! I think taking Charles off cost us the match on Saturday.

Same starting team as Saturday please. Edozie and Matsuki on if things aren't working.

Must win really to keep any ideas of the playoffs alive. Failing to beat Charlton and QPR at home would make it clear that we haven’t turned a corner at all and we’ve just had the rub of the green recently leading to another temporary run of results. Could do with a convincing performance and win to set up the rest of the season

we are at the point in the season where every home game is a must win if we seriously want one of the playoff spots. I already believe Saturdays draw will ultimately prove very costly. We have to put together a run of convincing performances starting tonight to have any hope in my opinion and we have to be better in the final third.

Almost as if theres a perfect chance to play him back into form this Saturday against the worst team the championship has ever seen. 

Should've rested Charles and Stewart then tbh.

Everything does seems manic and rushed, doesn’t seem to have much composure

Got to manage his minutes thought. He was out for a few months and we don't want him to break down like Stewart did. He'll get at least 30 mins tonight, I expect.

Happy to see Matsuki in for Fellows, who has been off the boil and maybe needs a refresh. 

Edwards is starting for them. We should be well aware of his weaknesses (eg pace) and exploit them as best we can.

Those pre planned data analyst subs do my head in, I see QPR keep same line up that won 3-1 at Hull, must be short of analysts

Yep, Ekert has no flexibility to respond to what’s happening in the game.

Main worry for me is Jander. He hasn't been on his game recently to say the least. Would have preferred Charles. Other than that - fine. If we score more than once we should win but when was the last time we scored more than once at home?

Interesting stat around Matsuki. In the 14 games in all competitions he has featured, we have only lost once.
Granted in most of these he was a late sub but I think he’s better than people give him credit.

He reminds me of Stephen Davis. Tenacious and you don’t see a lot of what he does. He of course has also scored 2 goals unlike Fellows.

We've not exactly been convincing in this run either save for a half against a demoralised Leicester and away to Stoke. Won ugly v Watford and Sheffield Utd and draw in derby game. Problem is it could easily come crashing down this evening as this league is so unpredictable. A draw at best.

yeah, but not surprising, he's been brought back slowly after a long injury and they will have leaned from what happened with Stewart  earlier in the season.

what was jander like on saturday when he came on? he was terrible in the first half away at leicester, but before then he was playing well I thought.

He was out for 11 weeks. He has on his return got 12, 27, 16, 52, 45 and 65 minutes. We are being cautious.

Works hard. Fellows you know what you're getting but he's not been in the best form. 

Must win tonight with QPR direct rivals. Anything else and play-offs get more difficult. Fight lads, fight.
