Saints vs Newcastle - Postponed

Just wait for Newcastle to try and get this postponed. We are obviously one of the teams they will fill they can/need to overtake to stay up. Looks like Saint-Maximin and Wilson will be out for this along with a few others. Ralph said Adams tested positive yesterday so he’ll be out as well but Stephens and Lyanco should be back by them.

As Ralph just  said... "injuries are not covid cases".

Isaac Hayden was suspended vs Man Utd, so he is back for them to play Saints. So Saint-Maximin and Wilson out, Hayden back only puts the one player down on what they had vs Man Utd. Plus the game vs Saints is on Sunday, so possibly current Covid cases they have will be back after 7 day isolation.

If that gets refused they'll just keep licking each other to get enough positive tests to get out of Sunday.

We'll end up playing them in fucking April.

Of course it will be on, MLG assured us they are only one player down from last night and he would know, no game had ever been postponed on football manager due to covid

Perfect time to play Newcastle with no Wilson and St Maximin... so naturally of course it will be postponed. Granted it also means when we eventually play them that Salisu will be back but this would have been a good time to play them as they’ll splash the cash in Jan.

We definitely want this on. Salisu and KWP will be missed, but if we were offered that in exchange for Wilson and ASM both being ruled out then we would take it all day. Would bring Stephens in for Salisu as hes used to playing alongside Bednarek (not sure Lyanco and Bednarek have played together as a two) and hopefully TIno is fit (with Perraud at LB)

I wouldn’t be surprised if Everton v Newcastle gets postponed

It wont be, Mullins is back who was suspended last night so they are only one player down from the Man United game, will possibly have some covid players back too

They'll do all they can to postpone our game. After we've rested players to focus on that. It's daft planning beyond one game right now really.

What are the rules exactly? They have huge incentive to postpone games with injuries and a transfer window opening soon. So what if they have a few COVID cases and injuries? Teams have important players out all the time.

We'll have 2 suspended and maybe 1 COVID, but we'd still beat them. A midweek late season game when they've spent a fortune? Who knows.

And no penalty for these unvaccinated players isolating and no restricting them socialising and risk catching it. Fucking farce. And every PL manager uniting and saying how inhumane it is making them play 3 games a week.

Newcastle are not going to sign a new team in January. League position, geography, and Eddie Howe are not factors in their favour.

Does any of that matter when someone is willing to throw £100k a week in your direction?

I think MLG said Hayden not Mullins available though

Plus McGinn is suspended.

Got him mixed up with Hayden Mullins.

I've had a nightmare here.

It’s like when you address a woman at work by the wrong name, then pause in a moment of sheer horror as you realise you said the vaguely similar name of a pornographic actress.

No, just me?

I would worry if I knew names of any porno actress.

Depends on who you are currently playing for, and if you want to risk a relegation on your CV. Newcastle are probably 25 points away from staying in the Prem, so need to show top 7 form for the second half of the season.

As I said earlier the league will let them do whatever they want because they want them in the top flight next season with all their money.

Agree mate pure corruption

No doubt the Saudis will make sure  whoever makes these decisions receives a nice Christmas hamper as a thank you
