At the very least if he continues to show this level we might get some good offers in the summer.

This is probably the most important thing.

Think you deserve a few pats on the back and a few retractions from those who rubbished your long standing support for Sulemana.  He was brilliant last night and his performance is a tick for Juric and a colossal fail for Martin who didn’t have the vision, man management or coaching skills to get the best out of the lad.   Similar story with Les Ugochukwu;  Juric saw and encouraged, in a few days what Martin ignored for half a season.

Thank you buddy, hope it continues always thought he had sky high potential since that spurs 3-3 game ..players like him that can go past players like that have a high upside he’s got the control also.

If you want to get a tune out of some flair players, the manager has to show them some love. That means playing them in the next game even if in the last game things didn't go well. Managers have to show some of the bravery they themselves talk so much about.  I don't think many of our managers have really done that with flair players over many years. Hard to blame them. They are under pressure to get results and indeed us as fans see a poor performance and are only too happy for that player to be dropped from the next game.

I get the feeling Juric knew what Sulemena had in his locker and has decided to show him some of that love I mentioned. He perhaps has told him `he is the guy', `he knows he can do it' and he has backed it up with some consecutive games and minutes. It paid off yesterday. Now can he do it again? I suspect Forest will be much tougher and he may offer limited impact. They don't have a stupid five-at-the-back-don't-have-a-clue-what-they-are-doing formation. But if not in that game, let's see if he can do it in the game after. I have a feeling, even if Sulemena doesn't do it at Forest, Juric will pick him again and that confidence in him might be rewarded again. We shall see.

Agree with this 100 percent .. players need some love from the manager. Even mlt went to another level with ball who made him feel like he was Southampton..”

You have  ronaldo and give him 5-10 mins at the end of games and his goal  and assist stats would be shit too .. yet.this silly goals to appearance judgement keeps going on

Seeing the improvement in Sully makes me dwell on what Juric could have done with Alcaraz if he were still here….

I'd guess if we still had Alcaraz, we might not have Fernandes. Which would be a shame.

True.  Alternatively, if we still had Alcaraz we might not have Smallbone.   Which would not be such a shame.

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned on here but during yesterday's Going Home podcast, Blackmore let slip he had been told around the time Sulemana joined us that he had an ongoing long-term injury.

To think that we signed Ross Stewart just months later, that's a combined £32M towards injured players (and our top scorer since the start of the year is a defender who cost £5M...)

Sully has been more exciting then dibling since juric has come in . Hope people are starting to realise that he isn’t  crap now just was wasn’t getting any love under Martin  we would absolute mugs to let him go for a pittance at the end of the season , I’m hoping juric will have a say in him staying

I agree, with one slight doubt. He’ll be playing against deeper defences next season, can he break them down without the space in behind?

He looked world class against swansea, next week v the world's meanest defence will be a good test of what he can do

If we can't afford a Championship manager how about we look a little lower. Kelvin your time has come ( again). Or how about Jimmy  Ball , fighting relegation would be in his DNA, and we know the tactics- just give it to Tyler at every opportunity.

I wasn’t expecting us to go on a mad spending spree, but the silence is absolutely deafening so far.

Have the club given up? Shall we cancel the rest of the season?

Will they refund season tickets considering the season is over already?

I think the type of player he is playing in a a style of football RM played meant that his strengths were not required by the team. Much like if you played him as the number 9 in a long ball team. If Martin was staying his only value would be carrying the water bottles. In Jurics system he wants wingers in behind in space in the channels and to run with ball. Pace is king but not required when you expect your winger to turn back and play to the CB if there is no space.

Russ ball was always dire to watch and risky but we lucked out in the play offs. in the prem it was a certainty that we would lose most weeks.

He got the full Motd praise for his speed and making things happen in defence and attack .

Guys, steady. Yes, he looked good against the mighty Swansea and for the 20 minutes he came on against Ipswich, but until he has played a few more games where he can prove he can shoot and control the ball when running with it, the jury is still out.

That said, he does look to have taken his head out of his arse, looked around and decided he wants to show people he can play football. Think a lot of that is on Juric and our new(ish) style of play.

I’m holding out major praise for the kid until he starts doing it against deep defences and teams that aren’t set up one against one against him. Sunday will be interesting. I think he’s put in the sort of displays we saw yesterday before, including Liverpool last season then failed to back it up. Hopefully Juric can help him back them up this time.

Hows it going?

End of Feb until the end of March is Ramadan, luckily we only have two games in March, against Liverpool and Wolves, so we'll see if his performance levels have a drop off.

Counter that though, we may be coming up against a sub par Salah (sub par for his normal levels anyway) so maybe it will benefit us more than hurt us! I'm clutching at straws of course.

We produce so little in terms of attacking intent, I think many are taken in by Sully’s tricks and ability to dribble. The problem with the player is that his vision and decision making are flawed - probably why he’s playing for us and not a better team. He often takes one too many touches and loses the ball…a lot. Consequently our attacking moves are often toothless. What is not obvious is whether it’s the coaching not being effective in the instruction or Sully is deliberately ignoring instructions. If I had to guess, I’d say the latter - I reckon discipline in the squad is very low.

Honestly if only someone to buy him boots with longer studs I think that might actually help him to deliver goals and assists.

I've never seen someone fall over as much as he does, snipers hate him.

Nice to see kamaldeen coming out and addressing the allegations of poor attitude , what he says about needing a run in the side to get form and confidence going is hundred percent right . Too many players get written off without a good run in the side.

Ar the moment I think he’s our most dangerous player really hope he stays next season would be just our luck if he starts blowing up at the end of this season only to leave in the summer

He'll run around it five times before turning back then heading off in the wrong direction.

Brilliant news all round.  I genuinely think he'll do better there in a slower paced league and with better players, and wouldn't be surprised if he ends up netting us some extra cash with his sell on.

Seems a decent guy as well so wish him all the best

We've done well to get over 50% of our money back on this one, the guy never did it for us - either Champ or Prem.

Lots of pace, undeniable attribute, but he never seemed to know what to do with it. Lots of blind ally's run into.

To get £15m+ for him is a fantastic start and provides us with a bit of a bonus income, that we probably didn't expect to generate. This is the sort of transfer I expected to rumble on and turn into a loan, ditto Onuachu, so it's good to get these two done nice and early.

I wonder if we'll get any takers for ABK? That would be another bonus, even £5m at this point.
