obelisk Posted yesterday at 13:33 Posted yesterday at 13:33 An extra couple of points on Tuesday would have been handy but now it just comes down to having to win two games and hope.
BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 13:34 Posted yesterday at 13:34 (edited) Bloody hell, Rochdale vs York Rochdale winner late on to get promoted, pitch invasion and mass celebrations. Order is restored and the game resumes, York equalise and are promoted instead. Edited yesterday at 13:35 by BotleySaint

Wed have to beat Ipswich by two clear goals to go above Boro going into the last day. If we beat Ipswich by 1 goal then we'll be above Middlesbrough on goals scored going into the last game 1

sfc4prem Posted yesterday at 13:39 Posted yesterday at 13:39 Much easier if you mentally accept we're playoff bound. 2

WBA need a draw to ensure safety. I know what result my moneys on from WBA Ipswich… Mystic Duck.
benjii Posted yesterday at 13:45 Posted yesterday at 13:45 Ok, second is done. That point is actually a big point for Ipswich. They win on the last day, we can't catch them. Likewise, Milwall. They won't both fail to win, and we have to bear Ipswich three days after a game against Man City to even make it relevant. It's done. However, what will be quite annoying is if Mboro beat us to 4th. So, for that reason, I really hope we beat Ipswich on Tuesday. Which will mean, despite everything I said above, that I will go into the final day of the season thinking that we might get second! 1
James G Posted yesterday at 13:52 Posted yesterday at 13:52 It's crazy to think though if we'd beaten Bristol City, second place would not be in our hands now. It shows you how close it's been
LiberalCommunist Posted yesterday at 13:55 Posted yesterday at 13:55 Yep, Boro have now changed the parameters. There's no resting or rotating. We are now balls out all the way. And we'll just have to see where that puts us. Makes Downes suspension even more frustrating. The 3 o'clocks today look like the most inconsequential bunch of fixtures I've ever seen. Time for a break before the Pep love in starts.
Jimmy_D Posted yesterday at 13:56 Posted yesterday at 13:56 That Rochdale pitch invasion has to go down as the worst of all time? 😅 2
LGTL Posted yesterday at 14:03 Posted yesterday at 14:03 Yes, that Boro result means we really have to go all out to get 4th. Which consequently means we could still get 2nd. Weird end to the season.
Mboto Gorge Posted yesterday at 14:22 Posted yesterday at 14:22 So it’s now confirmed that 84 points would’ve got us second place. Was always going to be unlikely, but if we’d won every game from last Tuesday onwards, we’d have got automatic promotion 1

I think we've done pretty well all Still things considered. 1

JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted yesterday at 16:08 Posted yesterday at 16:08 West ham got the win in the end. Will give them confidence going forwards.

Leeds at home looks like their best chance of a win on paper. 1

Saying that West Ham could move 5 points clear IF they beat Brentford which will be tough and spurs lose against Villa. After that west ham have got some tricky games. 2

Saint Pete Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Wrexham just beaten by Coventry, leaves the final play off place still up for grabs on the final day with Hull and Derby still in the mix. All 3 are at home, but Wrexham have toughest looking game vs Boro.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago There's a good atmosphere in the Edinburgh derby. They're into the joke shop fixture split part of the season. It's going to be hard enough for Hearts to win the league over Russell Martin's former Rangers and Paul Tisdale's former Celtic. But harder still is being a goal down and facing 10 men, after the Hibs 'keeper was sent off. It's a nightmare scenario, as it's well known 10 is tougher than 11.

Well there is a good chance as it is the national league south, but I know what you mean 😉. I keep an eye out for Torquay, playoffs again for them!
Dr Who? Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Worth mentioning that Sholing missed out on the playoffs even though the had a great 0-4 win at Dorchester they missed out to Berkhamsted who also won 2-0, and Sholing needed them to lose. Winchester City are in the playoffs
