I doubt Will still interviewed. He’s been back in Belgium with family pretty since his sacking.

Pinch of salt that.

And you know that how?

OK even ignoring the point that has been raised multiple times already about conducting interviews remotely, didn't he say that he wanted to come back to the UK to support his partner through serious illness?

From a Saints perspective, it would be great if Norwich did appoint him now. Not only would it massively reduce our liability to pay up his contract, we haven't played them yet home or away (in the league anyway) so it would be a guaranteed 6 points for us because all we would have to do is put numbers in midfield.

Be interesting in his next gig, whether he plays 3 at the back.

He's had interest from Championship and Ligue 1 so not beyond the realms that he has had an interview at Norwich.

Would be fascinated to see how he gets on without a squad of Russell Martin fanboys

Not convinced it’s Ekhart, one of the interviews went very well today

I admire the continued commitment to the ITK persona. Keep hacking into those interviews to bring us the latest!

He was pretty shit when he had the majority of the team who were nothing to do with RM.

Looking at the realistic options on that list, I’m guessing Carrick is the most obvious? Assuming SR don’t go full SR and appoint Tonda…..

My working assumptions are that, A.) we will continue with Tonda in an interim role - until such time that he's done well enough to justify keeping the job, or B.) someone genuinely good appears on the horizon and is interested... or C.) we stick with Tonda but he's doing really badly, and that leads to earthquakes behind the scenes leading us to move for someone they don't particularly fancy.

So in essence, unless things change - my expectation is that its going to be Tonda.

Also, i suspect the main reason Still was sacked when he was, was because of fan discontent and increasing anger towards the board - they've done this since Ralph - once the fans are on their case they quickly move to sack the manager. Now we've won a couple of games, fans aren't venting at the board in the stadium, so the pressure has abated.

So far most available evidence suggests this to be the case.

How many interviews would Spors require for the 'preferred candidate(s)'? Martin said that he had numerous interviews before being appointed at Rangers, and Ekhart said that he had 4 (I think) interviews at Saints before getting the U-21 job. I know both of those situations were in the close season, but I'd imagine that Spors & the Board would want to interview those short listed more than once........

Sounds like a very thorough process. You'd think SR would manage to get something right once in a while.

It will be my disappointment but not a real surprise given the seemingly lack of understanding of football at SR

Was that the German or the ex PL player that you have mentioned before? Or is there someone else?

Fulham would be mad to get rid of Silva.

They were the very definition of yoyo team in the last decade, but since he took over from Parker he lead them to The Championship title, 10th, 11th and 13th place finishes.

If they want Rodgers then go for it, we'll take Silva

I think it is more of a case of Silva getting rid of Fulham

You’d hope they’d read the room better than that, but probably not. They’re on thin ice with the fans. Another bad performance or 2, without fortunate wins to put a gloss on it, the fans will be after the board again. The majority expect them to be taking a new manager search very seriously after what they’ve served up in recent times. Appointing an unknown kid who’s never managed at senior level before would be an extremely stupid move and clearly not what this club needs in a time of crisis.

It's a bit of both I think. Silva has been touting himself about for all sorts (which he has a rep for already), and so has his agent, but that Fulham contract is difficult for another club to get him out of. Was pretty keen on going to Saudi by all accounts and was the top target for the Forest job too

The linked article suggests Fulham are looking to get rid of him

Fulham want rid of him and he wants to go, yet no one wants to make the move to do so because it would require a large payout 😅

Fascinated by these interviews that have been happening, intrigued to know whose interview went well. Gonna be awkward if it was Russell Martin though. 👀🤣

Apparently Pilchards fell out of such tree, couldn't hold on one hand with the binoculars and one hand on his todger,

Do we need to get Stu Romsey Saints to take him on a tour of Romsey? Maybe they could meet up for "chat"

When i last spoke PV he thought that Romsey was Pompey, which he fucking hates. Lost in translation, but I didn’t like to say anything, c’est la vie!
