The rest of the possible playoff teams all need to field their strongest teams tomorrow. I'd take the advantage of having a rested first team over a home/away order preference vs boro. Team have been flat out for the past month. Need fresh legs for the playoffs.

Yeah, I agree. Rest Scienza and Azaz. Bench Larin. Don't think we can rest THB with Jack missing.

But we are in a privileged spot compared to the rest of them.

It will be interesting seeing how the rest do in their games.

Tonda will do his usual and rotate 3-4 players. The problem is that with injuries and suspensions he has fewer players available to him.

All this talk about resting players is woke nonsense. We should be putting out our strongest 11 and going out there to win. Momentum matters, and right now we haven’t won in three games- we need a confidence boost.

We’ve had plenty of matches over the last few years where we’ve had extra rest compared to the opposition, or breaks during international weeks, and still ended up getting pumped. We’ve got six days off after this one, so play to win and get us firing again. We have 4 big games coming up so let’s get back to where we belong- in the top division. Up the fucking Saints!

Just met a load of Salford fans on way to Crawley at Birmingham services.

Come on Crawley. Not that it matters if Cambridge do the business at Crewe. Some context, 2 of my children were born in Cambridge and we lived there for 9 years, so we have a soft spot for them. Go to a few of there games op north.

Hopefully we can get third or fourth today. That will enable us to be at home for the second leg of the play offs. 3-0 to us today - Scienza, Stewart and Larin to score 😊 COYR 😊

Wow, using woke in the context of people's opinions of tired players.

Brilliant.

If Daniel Peretz is in a wheelchair by teatime today you've got blood on your hands Tonda Eckert. Fucking blood on your hands.

Has Tonda threatened him then? 😉

Ridiculous line up. He’s running Scienza into the ground to avoid a 12:30pm kick off at St Mary’s.

Pretty much full strength.

Apart from our best right back, best left back, best number 10, most in form striker, best central midfielder & Matski pretty much full strength. And of course the captain is missing as well.

Slightly odd line up. But I guess we need to have more than half an eye on next weekend.

It is slightly odd in that he's playing a strong team and the players I would consider most prone to injury (Scienza, Stewart, Wellington) are all playing - so he's not resting players for this team. But what's Charles doing going in for Bree? Is it a change of formation? Surely not when he's found a winning set up.

I understand the game will be shown on Sky Sports+.  I want to record the match but cannot work out how to do so. Is there someone who knows how to record, please?

I have found I can record the game once the match is on Red Button is working but if you try recording in advance you get the pre-scheduled game - which looks like Ipswich. Would have thought it should have been Wrexham

We ended the Ipswich game with Charles at right back

Would assume it's Fellows at wingback?

Change of shape nonetheless

It's the order they've put the names on the team sheet that makes me suspect it's Charles at RB.

Earlier in the season when Fellows was playing that role, he was always next on the sheet after the keeper.

He could be decent there. Would suit his game and give us someone else capable of pinging some accurate long balls

I'm not convinced by the defensive side of his game TBH. He's very sloppy in possession sometimes, and his tackling ability ain't all that.

Perhaps Tonda’s got his maths wrong and thinks by getting a high score GD today we can still make 2nd???? 🤔🤣

We can still get 3rd or 4th

3rd or 4th brings advantages vs finishing 5th

Correct call. Get the game won and worry about the rest later.

He's resting the players that need a rest. Personally I d have played Edozie but I best hes one of the first on.

Sad to say that you're answer is woke.

I hope the ref ain't woke today.

I mean, if you say so. I literally have no idea what it means anymore.
