DT Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Sorry, that was dogshit. Another randomiser coaching masterclass from the great pseudo computer sham merchant. Crap 5
OttawaSaint Posted October 4 Posted October 4 (edited) We're like a detox clinic for footballers. I keep getting the urge to attack with pace. All I think about is scoring goals! Please help me! Don't worry, here at Saints we'll help you lose those cravings. Edited October 4 by OttawaSaint 3
Saint_clark Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I know you lot are pissed off but I'm still seeing progress, just certain individuals that aren't stepping up and improving at the same rate. 2 3

Saint Scott Posted October 4 Posted October 4 FT. It really is time to question Still now. No identity at all, players look confused and he still hasn't figured out his formation or starting 11. Derby are a poor poor side and we should be comfortably winning that game. 8
Baird of the land Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Absolutely hated Still's subs again. Took off our 2 best players. Only way it could have been worse is if he'd brought on Bazanu for Mccarthy. 2
imadirtyurchin Posted October 4 Posted October 4 That was fucking dire. I’m gonna nail my colours to the mast: Downs isn’t good enough and shouldn’t play again. Will Still isn’t the one. 3
Disco Stu Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Failed to win the first half thanks to Ryan Manning. Failed to win the second half thanks to Will Still. How disappointing. 2
washsaint Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I've seen enough of Still to believe he has not got a bloody clue. Random subs, no discernable tactics and a team that should be performing way, way better than they are. Another terrible decision by SR......Still looks completely lost and on a par with Pellegrino as the most clueless manager we've had 7
OttawaSaint Posted October 4 Posted October 4 (edited) Rubbish again. Next game Derby get mullered. Edited October 4 by OttawaSaint
Willo of Whiteley Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Quite frankly that and the Middlesbrough game are both two points dropped. We should’ve beaten both. 1
Zorba Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Another bore draw against a very mediocre Championship side. It’s why we are where we are. 1
hypochondriac Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Fellows looked good and should have started. Armstrong good goal, Stewart lively for the short time he was, Scienza looked lively and McCarthy got us a point. Other than that it wasn't good enough and all the subs were shite. We offered almost nothing again second half. Very worrying. 2
Andrew Watson Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Utter rubbish, another 2 points dropped to another bloody awful team. SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH. 1
OttawaSaint Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Just now, adrian lord said: Who is this Still guy? Yeah, not particularly effervescent is he? 1
markr27 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Should have kept Stewart on, he would have been more effective than Downs. 1 2 1 1
skintsaint Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Stupid play conceding another goal costs us. Still must be frustrated. 4 points on the road though and many would have taken that this time last week.
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Just now, DT said: Sorry, that was dogshit. Another randomiser coaching masterclass from the great pseudo computer sham merchant. Crap Agreed, no cohesion at all. Its gonna be like this all season. No progress has been made since game one.
Osvaldorama Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Agree with the above. Absolutely toilet tactics, subs and management
Wade Garrett Posted October 4 Posted October 4 That was fucking shit. Nowhere near good enough. We have no real shape and it’s just chaotic. Fucking awful from Still. I don’t think we’ll get any better with him in charge. Taking Sienza and Charles off was stupid, as was putting Fellows wing back, playing Armstrong down the middle and bringing Downs on. I wouldn’t shed a tear for him if he got sacked. 4
hypochondriac Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Oh and Downs should not be on the bench. He's actually worse than BBD for me. 3
BARCELONASAINT Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I'm not one for sacking managers but even i have had enough of this lacklustre football and want Still out now! 2

Convict Colony Posted October 4 Posted October 4 What are we ? what's our style, i just see a disjointed mess no matter who we put in. 4

It worked - had to move to get an optimum Wi-Fi signal in the hotel but managed to watch the game. I’ve had vpn issues when abroad - tuned out it was the hotels Wi-Fi system blocking the stream.
obelisk Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Very average stuff. Had Stewart stayed fit I reckon we might have nicked that. As it is we're pretty toothless.

Morse Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Yet another draw, not good enough. So much money spent compared to others in the league and we're still shit. 1
Jack Posted October 4 Posted October 4 2 minutes ago, Saint_clark said: I know you lot are pissed off but I'm still seeing progress, just certain individuals that aren't stepping up and improving at the same rate. It’s the manager picking these individuals who continually let us down. Manning is utter dog shit who occasionally looks competent. Slows us down, can’t defend, doesn’t think. As for bringing Downs on, what the fuck is the point. 4
Chris cooper Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Taking Leo off after we tried to recover losing Stewart is on still .. killed us offensively 6
DT Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Downs, offered a chance to show something, ran round like he could not be arsed. What a waste of money. Downs came on and flicked his hair, got the usual yellow card for ineptitude and did absolutely nothing in his pining for Wussell way. We've even turned some of the Championship's most exciting, attacking forwards into nervy averageness, cast by the Saints/Still confused playing style wand. Armstrong's goal so jammy McCarthy, however, had a good game 2
hypochondriac Posted October 4 Posted October 4 (edited) Don't care about the defence because it's poor whoever we play. My midfield and attack if Stewart is fit would be Jander Charles Armstrong Scienza Fellows Stewart Robinson on the bench to bring on at half time. None of the others deserve a game. Micky Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Just now, tdmickey3 said: What a pile of shit Absolutely no chance of promotion if we carry on like this Nope. We are mid table, at best. The squad may indicate otherwise, but at the end of the day if you don't do it on the pitch squad riches mean f all. I have absolutely no idea what our 'game plan' or tactics are, to me it just appears like go out and play and just throw subs on randomly if we ain't winning (every game this season). Mid table at best, nowhere near promotion standards. 6

OneMrsWallace Posted October 4 Posted October 4 6 minutes ago, DT said: Derby are terrible. Our substitutions are completely random - a coach trying to pretend he actually knows what he's doing. No structure to our formation. No pace. No togetherness. And Still just chucking random players on and hoping it works. Downs and Downes completely anyonymous and offering 'couldn't give a shit' vibes. Depressing. When asked about his subs at Sheffield Still said it wasn't tactical, just instinct. I really wanted him to do well but it's not looking great is it. 1
RedArmy Posted October 4 Posted October 4 That was crying out for Still to change the shape in the second half and he bottled it. Bringing players on to play in positions they don’t suit. I want to like him but he doesn’t help himself at times. 5
hypochondriac Posted October 4 Posted October 4 The killer is we've spent all this money and don't really look any different to how we did before the money was spent. If nothing else I'd expect a little entertainment. 3
Jonnyboy Posted October 4 Posted October 4 The promotion season feels like glory days on a day like today.
egg Posted October 4 Posted October 4 3 minutes ago, LeG said: Mental taking Scienza off Yep. Scienza, our best player today by a distance replaced by Downs, our worst player by a country mile. Mind bogglingly inept. 10
rooney Posted October 4 Posted October 4 We had our chances and so did Derby do a fair result in the end although stats show we edged it. 1
trousers Posted October 4 Posted October 4 (edited) Only two points less than the "outstanding" Russell Martin achieved in this league at the same stage of the season. I have my doubts about Still but obviously too early to write him off as things stand. Edited October 4 by trousers
