Disgusting second half...any need to be so fkin negative? Surely we could have got in behind at least a couple of times and kept possession better.

Norwich are decent, a big three points.

I'd genuinely would argue that was the poorest officiating I have ever seen in the industry.

Wow. What a massive 3 points that is.

I think I love Daniel Peretz. Shame he won't be with us next season.

Wasn't pretty but I'll take shit-housing our way to a 1-0 at this point.

Hull, we're coming for you.

Have to say that Saints will need to be better than that if they want to get through the play-offs. Totally surrendered that 2nd half.

I haven't seen refereeing that dodgy since Escape to Victory.

Won ugly. Kept a clean sheet. Job done. It feels like the league one promotion, win after win, momentum building etc. so good wins, some ground out who gives a fuck?

A game of two halves.

Peretz deserves the plaudits but that second half was very poor. We should have been pinning them back, especially the booked players but we hardly got a kick.

Great win, a touch fortunate however

They were excellent so that’s a massive win. Peretz absolutely outstanding, night and day from that idiot Bazunu. We are on the charge now.

Seriously rode our luck there. First half I thought we where great edozie looked a very good fill in for scienza and azaz was orchestrating things .Second half though we just struggled to get anything going not sure if it was game management but we seemed to give them too much respect in the second half. Peretz the hero with another 2 amazing stops 3points but we made hard work if it

My stream had no sound, that second half was bloody torture, we gave them the pitch and defended for our lives, Peretz was immense. My heart won't take too many more games like that.

Exactly.

All that matters at this stage of the season is finding a way to get the 3 points, and we did

Fucking love grinding out a 1-0.
Excellent, gritty result

You don't want to see you hit your own bar 7 minutes into added time. Or Peretz having to make a smart save 30 seconds later.

But the plan was to hold onto the lead. And we got the job done against the league's in form (if injury ravaged) side.

We were obviously hoping for the odd counter. We had a good chance early on with Larin. But that was about it. It was more of a relief just to get it into the final third, after a while, never mind create anything.

Larin didn't really hold anything up, and isn't the most mobile in that tactic. Azaz worked hard, but we dropped back a little more when Downes went off.

We worked hard in an organised defence. Even so, Peretz did very well with a couple of saves.

Job done and into that play off spot. Something that looked a ridiculous dream earlier in the season. Credit to Tonda and the players for turning it round.

Always going to be a really tough game and it certainly was but we take the 3 points and that is all that matters. Ref should have handed out more cards to Norwich which would  probably have led to a red but he gave us zero protection. Norwich tried kicking us off the park so got what they deserved in the end - fuck all.

it seems so long ago that we couldn't keep a clean sheet for love nor money. with four at the back, some organisation, confidence and team spirit we look tough to break down, all be it norwich and coventry should really have got something from both games.

Given Norwich's form it was always going to be a close and niggly encounter rather than a crowd pleaser.

I thought it was great to shithouse our way to victory for a change. The Saints of old would have lost that game 2-1...

It’s amazing what a coincidence it is that we are suddenly regularly coming out on the right side of these 50/50 matches that could have gone either way , from the moment we’ve signed an actual decent keeper who makes match winning contributions. Who’d have fucking thought it!

A terrible game of football and we were very poor.

Try looking at the bigger picture rather than squinting down your nose at the result. We won!

Big win, not only in the top 6 but drag Hull a bit closer as well. Hull have Wednesday next so 3 points, so we need to make sure we get the 3 points on Saturday as well. Start reeling in the teams 8 points ahead now.

Let’s just keep going.
