scumbag Posted Wednesday at 21:45 Posted Wednesday at 21:45 (edited) Disgusting second half...any need to be so fkin negative? Surely we could have got in behind at least a couple of times and kept possession better. Edited Wednesday at 21:46 by scumbag 5 1 1
Monk Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Norwich are decent, a big three points. I'd genuinely would argue that was the poorest officiating I have ever seen in the industry. 24
Sheaf Saint Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Posted Wednesday at 21:46 (edited) Wow. What a massive 3 points that is. I think I love Daniel Peretz. Shame he won't be with us next season. Wasn't pretty but I'll take shit-housing our way to a 1-0 at this point. Hull, we're coming for you. Edited Wednesday at 21:47 by Sheaf Saint 3
Saint In Cornwall Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Fuck off back to your hovels you mustard munching cunts. 6 5
obelisk Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Posted Wednesday at 21:46 Have to say that Saints will need to be better than that if they want to get through the play-offs. Totally surrendered that 2nd half. 2 1

saintant Posted Wednesday at 21:47 Posted Wednesday at 21:47 Just now, Mr X said: My god hanging on there at the end Norwich deserved an equaliser tbh we played well though committed defending Nah, they punched the winner in at their place so fuck 'em! 5
Midfield_General Posted Wednesday at 21:47 Posted Wednesday at 21:47 (edited) Peretz milking the crowd, clearly loving life Flippin love this guy Edited Wednesday at 21:47 by Midfield_General 5
Colinjb Posted Wednesday at 21:47 Posted Wednesday at 21:47 We took advantage of an opportunity, not like us. 1
obelisk Posted Wednesday at 21:47 Posted Wednesday at 21:47 At least Saints weren't as bad as that ref.

Saint NL Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Posted Wednesday at 21:48 A game of two halves. Peretz deserves the plaudits but that second half was very poor. We should have been pinning them back, especially the booked players but we hardly got a kick. Great win, a touch fortunate however 5
Suhari Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Gutsy win that. Sign of Champions......(!!??) 1
Baird of the land Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Posted Wednesday at 21:48 International break coming at the right time perhaps. 3
LGTL Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Posted Wednesday at 21:48 They were excellent so that’s a massive win. Peretz absolutely outstanding, night and day from that idiot Bazunu. We are on the charge now. 10
pimpin4rizeal Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Seriously rode our luck there. First half I thought we where great edozie looked a very good fill in for scienza and azaz was orchestrating things .Second half though we just struggled to get anything going not sure if it was game management but we seemed to give them too much respect in the second half. Peretz the hero with another 2 amazing stops 3points but we made hard work if it 2
Dr. Kucho Posted Wednesday at 21:48 Posted Wednesday at 21:48 This was the game I thought we would slip up. Very pleased with the 3 points 1
Totton Saint Posted Wednesday at 21:49 Posted Wednesday at 21:49 I can't wait to watch the highlights tomorrow!! 1
Sheaf Saint Posted Wednesday at 21:49 Posted Wednesday at 21:49 I can't wait for Pingpong to come along and tell us how Peretz got really lucky tonight. 1 12
Challenger Posted Wednesday at 21:49 Posted Wednesday at 21:49 Of only we had a goalkeeper at the start of the season. 9
SuperSAINT Posted Wednesday at 21:49 Author Posted Wednesday at 21:49 Tremendous result. Next challenge - beat a 10-man low block vs Oxford. 3

Micky Posted Wednesday at 21:50 Posted Wednesday at 21:50 My stream had no sound, that second half was bloody torture, we gave them the pitch and defended for our lives, Peretz was immense. My heart won't take too many more games like that. 1

All that matters at this stage of the season is finding a way to get the 3 points, and we did Fucking love grinding out a 1-0. Excellent, gritty result 6

Saint NL Posted Wednesday at 21:50 Posted Wednesday at 21:50 Tessem just said, we defendered well, but when things go wrong we have Peretz. True that 4

RedWillie Posted Wednesday at 21:51 Posted Wednesday at 21:51 Now, just turnover Oxford to make up for that horror on boxing day 3
Danbert Posted Wednesday at 21:51 Posted Wednesday at 21:51 A terrible game of football and we were very poor.
adrian lord Posted Wednesday at 21:52 Posted Wednesday at 21:52 We are now top 2 material but it is a smidge too late. Gonna have to win the play-offs.
RedArmy Posted Wednesday at 21:52 Posted Wednesday at 21:52 A centre forward and a goalkeeper. Who knew. 11
Holmes_and_Watson Posted Wednesday at 21:53 Posted Wednesday at 21:53 You don't want to see you hit your own bar 7 minutes into added time. Or Peretz having to make a smart save 30 seconds later. But the plan was to hold onto the lead. And we got the job done against the league's in form (if injury ravaged) side. We were obviously hoping for the odd counter. We had a good chance early on with Larin. But that was about it. It was more of a relief just to get it into the final third, after a while, never mind create anything. Larin didn't really hold anything up, and isn't the most mobile in that tactic. Azaz worked hard, but we dropped back a little more when Downes went off. We worked hard in an organised defence. Even so, Peretz did very well with a couple of saves. Job done and into that play off spot. Something that looked a ridiculous dream earlier in the season. Credit to Tonda and the players for turning it round.
saintant Posted Wednesday at 21:53 Posted Wednesday at 21:53 Always going to be a really tough game and it certainly was but we take the 3 points and that is all that matters. Ref should have handed out more cards to Norwich which would probably have led to a red but he gave us zero protection. Norwich tried kicking us off the park so got what they deserved in the end - fuck all. 6
Chez Posted Wednesday at 21:53 Posted Wednesday at 21:53 it seems so long ago that we couldn't keep a clean sheet for love nor money. with four at the back, some organisation, confidence and team spirit we look tough to break down, all be it norwich and coventry should really have got something from both games.
trousers Posted Wednesday at 21:53 Posted Wednesday at 21:53 4 minutes ago, obelisk said: Have to say that Saints will need to be better than that if they want to get through the play-offs. Totally surrendered that 2nd half. Given Norwich's form it was always going to be a close and niggly encounter rather than a crowd pleaser. I thought it was great to shithouse our way to victory for a change. The Saints of old would have lost that game 2-1... 6
Mboto Gorge Posted Wednesday at 21:53 Posted Wednesday at 21:53 It’s amazing what a coincidence it is that we are suddenly regularly coming out on the right side of these 50/50 matches that could have gone either way , from the moment we’ve signed an actual decent keeper who makes match winning contributions. Who’d have fucking thought it! 4
ButtikonSaint Posted Wednesday at 21:54 Posted Wednesday at 21:54 I'll take eight more ugly one nils. We're fighting for it and am loving it COYS 5

Convict Colony Posted Wednesday at 21:55 Posted Wednesday at 21:55 What has happened! weve become a cross between 1990 west germany football and mourinho football for disciplined, organised performances. Good job guys 2

Dr Who? Posted Wednesday at 21:55 Posted Wednesday at 21:55 Big win, not only in the top 6 but drag Hull a bit closer as well. Hull have Wednesday next so 3 points, so we need to make sure we get the 3 points on Saturday as well. Start reeling in the teams 8 points ahead now. Let’s just keep going. 3
