Official site but seems they jumped the gun and should be releasing tomorrow, same time as Hull

That's another sanction. Honestly this club. They'll get the cleaner next for using the toilet cleaning mop in the corridors.

Cheers just a bit strange - one min it’s there the next not.

It's a mistake by the club it seems but irrespective it all but confirms that Middlesbrough will be in the play-off final - according to Middlesbrough fans on OneBoro forum. Jesus they'll jump at anything.

A bit concerned for the first time with tickets going on sale Friday, after they initially suggested they’d be on sale tomorrow.

At least we’ll know what’s going on either way after tomorrow.

Hull were supposed to release information today and didn't. I reckon the EFL have told both teams to wait pending the outcome of the investigation.

No he didn’t have a customer number they were his first ever games. I bought them under mine.

I’m going to go and speak to the ticket office tomorrow and see if they can help or not.

I didn't think you could buy tickets without assigning to anyone anymore? Or have 2 against the same number.

Might not be out of the woods yet then, so to speak

I had them printed and posted so he could keep the tickets from his first season , so I didn’t need to assign them to anyone. Both came with my name on.

I should have thought about this at the time really

Hopefully they'll sort you mate. If they're kids tickets I don't see why they wouldn't.

EFL are kinda screwing with Hulls preparation at this point.

Why?

The only people that think we’ll get kicked out delusional Boro fans & media.

We originally had 14 days to respond, which takes us up to the 21st. 2 days before the final. I can't see Hull wanting to delay much longer, they are an innocent party in all this.

Don’t understand why releasing the sales info and dates etc is an apparent issue.

We meant to put it on the Boro website 😉

We only gave them 2k.

Nah it'll be West again which is better anyway.

As someone else has said, think it's to do with the rail links and the more southern team gets the west side.

That suits fine. Half the Man City crowd couldn't see a thing with the sun in their faces.

Having been on the Hull site, I can confirm they are not releasing ticket details until tomorrow.

( they are also saying the ko time is 1.00am which seems a little early !)

Who is the home team?

Bagsy Yellow.

How is that decided ?
Is it on league position, or by toss of a coin to decide who wears their ‘home’ kit?

Must be league position. Weren't Leeds the home team last time out?

If the colours of the 'special' playoff final merch on the OS is anything to go by, we'll be in our home kit...

The sacrifices we make for the international TV market these days is disgusting

We're in the home kit with black shorts. Hull in home kit too.

Yeah we wore our home kit when we went away there earlier in the season. There's no clash so it makes sense.

Yep, the only difference then was that we wore white shorts rather than black, to avoid a clash with Hull's black shorts. One assumes Hull will switch from black to orange shorts if they're the designated away side at Wembley.

If that's the case, and they are the designated away side, I expect they will play in their full away kit as they did at SMS.

Feels like we never get to be the designated home side at Wembley. I genuinely can't remember the FA Cup semis against Chelsea and Leicester, but I assume we would have worn our home kit against them no matter what. But all the other games I can remember in recent years - EFL final, playoff final and cup semi recently (although that was our choice), we haven't worn our home kit.

The only time I can definitely remember we did was the JPT in 2011.

If it’s North v South, the South team always gets the West side. It’s to do with access to the different train stations for North/South I think.

I thought that was the case but in this year’s League Cup Final City had the west, Arsenal east.

No doubt we’ll get the west…if all goes to plan -  a niggling doubt remains that a decision could be made to wipe the first leg as #spygate and the subsequent manufactured outrage was over that game and they do this ‘3-0 home win’ bullshit which would put #crygate back into the final.

Can of worms though so hopefully unlikely, lawsuits all over the place if that or similar were to happen.

We wore our home kit against Chelsea, but again were the away team, Leicester we wore our third.

Including the old stadium we have never been the designated home team at Wembley.

Is it as simple as where S is in the alphabet compared to all the sides we’ve faced.

There is a Hull kits account on Twitter who says he has been told that kits for the final were agreed before Semis, with the higer placed league finisher getting to wear primary kit.

As such we'll be in home kit, and Hull will wear home shirt, but will change shorts from black to amber (so similar to when we were at Hull earlier in the season and wore home shirt but, changed shorts from black to white).

Why do we need to release our ticket sales plan same time as Hull? Never been a thing before. Obviously been told to hold off selling for now.

The longer it takes to announce the more I agree with you.

I must admit its a little unsettling tbh

Its likely we will somehow get enough points to relegated us next season if we in play off. EFL Prem and Boro will scheme up something.

Yes, it seems that both Hull and Saints have been told to hold off on announcing the ticket details for now, Hull originally said on their site the details would be released on Wednesday. Neither side is saying why the delay, so something is going on today you would think. My gut feel (based on no knowledge!) is the EFL want to say something today before the tickets go out, even if it is not a final decision, maybe to try to placate Boro to some extent and show that part of the process/consideration has been carried out before the play off final. Maybe some kind of EFL holding statement is being drafted and they want to put that out before the ticket stuff starts happening?

Or, they want to turf us out of the playoffs

Then what happens ? Saints appeal the decision ? Reinstate Boro and Millwall protest as both teams lost. Give Hull a bye ?  Rerun the whole thing with Wrexham taking our place ?

Totally disproportionate to any perceived advantage gained, ( ie none ).
