Why do these utter helmets come on another forum and spout drivel? Same applies to our moron lemon fans who do it on other team's forums too.

Forum Loser: "Hi, I'm coming on your forum to see what you think of our team and what are chances are?"

Most normal people: "Nothing, no thoughts, we hate you, we hate your team and hope we get 6 points from you every year, same applies to any team, bye"

I've heard that the hold up may be due to agreements regarding Koeman raiding us for our players. That would really be despicable, if unsurprising, so hope we stand firm on that.

Maybe say they can have Clasie for £15m and that's it.

And JWP for 20m. Nice bit of business. VVD and Mane not for sale.

"Talks were then held about his future and Southampton believed that an agreement on a new five-year plan for the club had been reached as well as the detail of their transfer policy all the way down to specific departures and prospective new signings this summer."

This part is key, perhaps this is what the ongoing negotiations are about. RK will know our recruitment plans for this Summer.

Not the best move by the club!

There are some information which shouldn't have been shared. That is one.

BREAKING NEWS: Update from Sky Sports News LIVE from Goodison Park and St Mary's: "It might be today, but probably will be tomorrow, we know absolutely f*ck all"

Seriously bored of Sky. As for "we spoke to some Southampton fans on the street, here's what they had to say: "money talks, that's all he's going for", "yeah it's disappointing because he said he'd stay but we've rebuilt once we'll do it again", "don't know why he's going when he's built this team to be on the brink of something special but [cut off whatever he was going to say next]" and then shoot back to presenter in the studio "ooh they're not happy!" - Three fairly ambivalent reactions suggesting we're not that devastated but they still try and drum it up to be another crisis for us. **** off.

thanks for biting lad.

No evidence to suggest you will be signing world beaters either. No European football to offer, and Lukaku wants out, potentially Stones too. - nobody is saying we are going to go out and sign 'world beaters'. But like it or not all signs at the moment with this new owner are looking positive. Hes been here 100 days and hes sacked the fraud Martinez, our ground move is looking very positive for the first time in years, and hes landed his #1 Target…your manager (without European football).

As for transfers we will be certainly be shopping in a different market this summer to what we have been used to over the years.

As ive mentioned, we managed to take your manager…without European football!

You are utterly deluded if you don't realise you are the second team in your city. - I was not stating that wasn't the case. but for Saints fans to use that against us is just a pathetic and desperate way to try and play us down. your derby is Portsmouth ffs…laughable.

Scott Dann is ****e, but so are your first choice centre halves so might be a decent move – our CB’s aren’t as bad as you like to tell yourselves. Our defence has been leaking goals due to Martinez’ management. Its well documented defence coaching under him is minimal and he doesn’t practice set pieces. Stones is 22 and an England International valued around 40M. Mori has only been over here 6 months and is being linked with Barca and a couple of Italian Clubs. Hes also a regular for Argentina and rated highly by messi & co. Jagielka is a solid PL defender and another England international, although hes probably in his final year with us.

two of those could be gone soon. - the sooner Lukaku goes the better. His goals helped us a lot last season but hes no world beater. He scored a handful in a team that knows nothing more than attack. He goes missing a lot of games (when it mattered at Wembley he was absolutely atrocious) He would do well at PSG. Man United/Chelsea/Real/Bayern for eg would not put up with his lack of a first touch, inability to score 1 on 1’s/pens and the fact he goes missing too often. He would be benched. if we get the reported 65 Million for him it would be absolute robbery. that cash will be re-invested in the squad. If stones is sold, it will also be for a lot of cash which will again be invested in the squad.

We're on the march with Ronnie's Armyyyyyy

ref15....does that stand for Retard Everton Fan

The highlighted bits probably answer the question tbh........

Dont miss your appointment at the jobseekers

The rumours are that VVD and Forster both had release contracts in their new contracts which weren't present in their previous ones and that the amounts of this clauses weren't really all that earth shattering.

Rumours by who exactly? twitter users n the Liverpool area?

IF true and this is the sticking point, then what's to stop us just sticking him on gardening leave for the remainder of his contract? Surely in our best interests.

Nothing but I doubt we want to pay someone a years salary to do nothing.

Seems to me we hold the strong hand though unless Everton wish to walk away. All so seems this would only matter to everton if they really want some of our players.

Thats our trump card. Koeman could probably have it overturned in court, but that would take months and everything would have moved on in the meantime. I think Cortese even did something similar to Adkins.

Trouble is, we'd be better served with a few million from EFC, plus a clause regarding non-poaching of staff (excluding two named coaches). Otherwise, he improves his golf handicap for a year and then comes knocking next season, with nothing to prevent him from doing so.

There is clearly something holding up the process. Sounds plausible that it is this....

If he get's the resources that are being quoted, he will have a bit to play with, but after a couple of seasons decline for Everton through a lack of investment (hence wanting new investors), they appear to have some catching up to do.

They finished fifth three seasons ago before Martinez was found out, I'm sure Koeman could do a better job than Martinez did in the last two seasons with the players and additions to the squad.

Except in Everton's case hate them more than any other club. I would probably tolerate an Accrington Stanley fan posting

agree - what's 5m compensation compared to the risk involved in replacing all of the players he takes with him - better off putting him on gardening leave, let Everton get someone else in, then Ronald can go to Arsenal next year, if he is still wanted, and I don't think Arsenal will need so many of our players compared to Everton, who would probably like all of our players if they could get them - there are not many (any?) of our first team that wouldn't improve the Everton first team.

Maybe not gardening leave for the remainder of his contract, but at least until Everton agree all our clauses, they'll either sign up or move on. At the worst koeman sees out the last year of his contract doing ****all for £3.5m. Whilst this is a lot, it's a stand that needs to be made by the club.

I agree that the clause is ideal, but I doubt Everton would agree to it. Plus, they aren't going to wait around until next season for him to become available.

Maybe you are shopping in a different market, and if you continue to pay massively over-inflated fees and wages than maybe 'world beaters' will come without European football as our manager seems to have done. Maybe your new owner might need to find more than 100 million quid, maybe he won't. One thing for certain is that nobody really knows because at the moment it's just a lot of hot air.

If I were an Everton fan I'd be reserving my proclaimations of greatness and superiority until I'd actually seen tangible and quantifiable improvement, but each to their own.

Whatever happens, good luck with it - I think you'll find most Saints fans genuinely got over Koeman leaving and turned the page several days ago.

Really? Lallana, Lovren, Shaw and Schneiderlin all had release clauses did they?

Totally different situation. We won't sell to Everton this summer unless a release clause is involved ( and if they do exist bigger clubs than Everton will be in for VVD and Forster).

Totally different. The only details the same are a Liverpool club, massive transfer budget, Saints manager just left and loads more wages offered - apart from that, barely comparable.

Not that he has any morals now, but I think the biggest disappointment in koeman will be if he comes sniffing around for any of our players, whether he signed'em or not. Not only will he be shown as a money grubbing c*nt but also a fat lazy PR*ck no better than Brenda, who utterly lacks imagination to dig up his own talent.

I haven't been keeping up to date and can't read through 68 pages. Can someone give me a link to whatever the source is that makes everyone know he's definitely going?

Haven't got time to link but I think his agent saying its a done deal would be a good indication...

Seriously, how on earth do you know that Koeman doesn't have any morals? This hate campaign against him is pathetic. He has been an excellent manager for us and from what I've heard, he wanted to see out his 3-year contract. I was really looking forward to next season with him in charge. It's true he didn't want to extend his current contract yet but there was no reason why he had to do that now. From what I've heard, Les Reed has forced him out a year early. Does that mean Les Reed had better morals than Ronald Koeman?

Looking forward to our trip to St Mary's next season. Who knows - you might even fill your ground for once.

We might even hear your fans for once...last game at Goodison and 2014/15 home game couldn't hear a peep from you lot the whole game. Boring s**t fans

It could be that Les is dealing with a potential new manager and that its down to lawyers and agents to settle the dispute with Everton.

Anyway looking forward to see who our new manager is going to be, hope to see someone who promotes more youth team players. Koeman may say that the academy players

werent good enough, but if I remember rightly, Harry Kane didnt set the world alight at his various loans in the lower leagues. A good manager gives the players cofidence and lets them flourish.

Because saving on paying £2m is so much better than losing VvD, Long, JWP and whoever else?

Paying him, Erwin & the other bloke a years salary for gardening leave is still a fraction of what we paid Osvaldo for the square root of f^ck all in return.

I'd like to see us force this issue. If Everton want him then he goes on our terms, or not at all.

What happens then at St Mary's is a different matter of course.

Doubt the club's going to pîss £8.5m up the wall out of spite - hardly good business sense...

Is it legal to not allow a player to move clubs because of a managers history? Feels like a restraint in their rights to work wherever they want to really? I know there can be reasonable restraints in terms of pinching clients etc but these are stricter the more specialised the area you work in and football is certainly not specialised. No idea really but be interested to know if this has been confirmed as happening at other clubs. Feels a little unenforcible to me and wont be in any of the players contracts about how they can leave the club i assume? . But then again im tapping away on an internet forum when i should be working and not a lawyer so what do i know!

Maybe we're dragging this out so we have our stuff (backroom/manager setup etc) in place before it's confirmed, just a thought.

Great minds! Just posted similar on the other thread.

A really nice thought, but somehow I suspect not.
