Stewart with a good couple of goals and a handy three points is most welcome. That was dreadful though. At this rate we might at least beat relegation.

God we needed that. We were absolutely shite but blimey I'll take it. Quarshie is pretty gash and we got away with it. Ref awful and you have to say Sheffield United can feel a bit aggrieved.

Could have gone either way but nice to be on the winning side and nice the penalty miss didn't cost us.

3 points next game and we're back in the play off hunt. 

Thought Wood, Fellows and Jander were good tonight, Fraser was decent when be came on. I still think our shape is wrong though.

Following it on here it seemed like we were doing everything in our power to throw it away! What is our problem?? Apart from being so shit!

Still not convinced by Still. Stewart and Mccarthy have bought him extra time though.

Absolutely garbage substitutions again.

The positive. That stewart strike. Hopefully we'll finally get to see the player we thought we'd bought from sunderland. I really like Charles/Jander and wood/edwards look pretty decent at CB.

Jander, Wood, Stewart, Fellows, Charles all played well. Hit and miss from the rest of them.

Finally we come out on top. Deserved that on the night. Apart from the last 10 minutes Saints largely bossed it. 

Armstrong and Stewart staking a claim is brilliant for the team. Something to build on.

We’ve played better than that and lost this season, and owed a bit to a ref that actually wasn’t trying to screw us over at every opportunity for once, but right now I don’t care :D 

Hopefully that’s the spark that Stewart needs to finally be the striker we were hoping he could be when we bought him!

Jesus that was hard work. I reckon things are turning though and we’re only 3 points off the playoffs despite our 1 ⭐️ start. If Ross stays fit he is - finally - what we’ve been crying out for.

Thought fellows was very good, so wonder why he went off

Wood leaves it all on the pitch, that is for sure....aggressive CB

Ref was MOTM for us today, about time we had one of those.

Great to see Ross Stewart get a few goals. Shame on all you doubters 😳

A win is a win no matter how ugly, but there is work to do. No doubt about that.

Good thing is we've got 3 points at Sheffield Utd. They didn't look that bad, and I suspect Wilder will get them cooking soon. Others will find it tougher at Bramall Lane.

3 points off the playoffs, been a good week.

Fellows is good. 

Stewart might be what we need and he was my MOTM tonight 

Woods is good. 

 

But fuck me it's still far too pedestrian, and we've won because a really good strike.
