Who did a brilliant goal line clearance last weekend?

Whose free kick created the winner?

Hello Mrs Manning.

Had a good game for the reserves against Leicester reserves. The sooner Weli is back the better.

Manning is a decent option to throw on if you need a late goal, or you’re going to be camped in the opposition half and he’s got no defending to do. When he has got defending to do, we concede too many goals.

He started his career as a winger. I'd imagine the reason he turned into a full back was due to a lack of pace. So whilst he's decent with the ball going forward, you're right. He has no idea how to defend.

We can probably get away with it against the likes of Charlton etc but he makes way too many defensive errors against any half decent side.

Maybe watch the way he acts on the touch line and in conversations in media?

He should never have been appointed that’s on SR.

A manager with an ego who talks himself up and backs his team; not sure he’s the only one. We all agree it was a bad appointment but I don’t get the vitriol. Move on mate.

If Derby, Wrexham and Bristol City lose tomorrow and Birmingham do not win by a bigger margin than us, we will be in the playoff places… madness!

Watch us draw with Charlton now,  1-1

Looks a good crowd and should be a decent atmosphere.

Can we ffs though leave that tedious cheer up Nathan Jones song. The only downside to our tremendous win up there was hearing that on repeat. The skates wore out in the week as well in their own tin pot, special way.

Less focus on him and all about us and getting the three points.

Completely agree, Jones was headhunted by Saints and we paid Luton a fortune to get him, he was the wrong appointment but the criticism for that is with Rasmus not Nathan Jones himself

Looks like there are about 1500 tickets available so should be near 30k crowd. Charlton haven't sold the full 3000 though.

Yeah probably 29k. Charlton have sold roughly 2,750 so not a bad following from them , they'll have to navigate the bus replacement services from Eastleigh as well

Interesting that Tonda mentioned that Jelert can play at left back unprompted in his press conference. Wonder if we’ll see him there today.

My respect for Tonda will rise if he plays Jelert at LB instead of Manning.   Who is going to partner THB if Stephen’s is out?    I don’t rate Wood;  Quarshie?

The criticism of Jones is about him being a twitchy mentalist.

You can't go around making claims about being the fittest man in the world and the best manager statistically and say bizarre things about staying in Wales with a girl from the valley and not expect a bit of criticism.

The man is a walking box of frogs.

I’m glad he’s not our manager, but I think Jones is great in this regard, the more characters in football the better.

I don't disagree, watching his presser yesterday was comedy gold, but like you very glad he's not out manager.

That didn't go down well here in south Wales, we'd just moved here then and some ridicule down the local pub was endured.

Haters got to hate and have a whipping boy I suppose.

Just as well was on the pitch for our equaliser against Leicester??

Wellington has been outstanding so of course we want him back .

Yeah get charles in, he offers composure on the ball and passing that i feel the other 2 dont, who i see more as terriers and ball recovery types.

Obviously we will win 2-0 as i predict these things.

Will be a interested observer on Bree's performance give he played for them but i think everyone realises what a good RB he is in the champs and is playing for a bnew contract.

I'd be tempted to make a couple of changes to the normal first XI to keep things fresh. Nothing major, but maybe Matsuki to start and obvs Welly is out.

I'd be tempted to keep Charles fresh and give Jander a chance to make up for his 45 mins against Leicester, but obviously Charles should be starting soon regardless.

No real surprises. Settled team for now.

Manning is weaker than Welington, Jander is off form so no issue with letting Charles start.

Jelert, Jander, Bragg, Matsuki, Edozie and Larin is a great bench for this level

As expected since Welington got injured. Otherwise strongest team, strong bench. Surely we have to win this.

Been a while since our last League game, I'm struggling to remember what happened...

Decent line up, decent bench. If the players are in a positive mood, should be another win. I can only hope Manning has watched enough of Wellington to understand what a left back does. Whether he's capable of doing it is another question.

Are we? I don't know any of their players so couldn't say.

Surely the fact that you can say that means Saints are better?

Likes of Coventry, Middlesbrough you can easily name a couple of players.

Not necessarily. I didn't know any Oxford players earlier in the season and they beat us. Just saw conor coady is playing didn't even realise he was at Charlton.

Peretz had a nightmare and gifted the opposition a 3 goal lead.  We will never get away with that again, so hopefully we see an improvement in his decision making today.

Your judgement on players is as poor as your judgement on what constitutes a biological woman.

Peretz might’ve done better with the first goal but he saw it late and it came through Stephen’s legs. No way he can be blamed for either of the other 2.
