If not, what's so bad about this game being one of those inevitable matches...? If it's inevitable that we're going to lose at least one more game this season (Coventry lost 7 last season, we've lost 3 so far), then losing to WBA away is probably not the end of the world in the general scheme of things... You're pragmatically.... Yeah but no shots on goal? Ain’t gonna win games of football like that, let alone claw back a goal.
Wade Garrett Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Stephens, Manning, Edozie and Mubama. Absolute fucking dogshit. Get them all off. 8

He had an age to get hold of the ball. I'm starting to wonder if there's one of those hotel illnesses going on, the whole team looks sluggish and not really with it. 1 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Stephens with a late screw up, to give them a chance.

Positive - unlike Damian Downs, at least we haven’t bought him. Definitely a new striker and centre back a January priority though. 4

This is as poor as it gets. We look like a relegation threatened team with zero idea. That was pathetic all over the park. 5
AlexLaw76 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago HT. Got away with only 1-0. WBA have been miles better...in every part of the pitch. This has been coming, we have been very slow for large periods in nearly all of our games....this time, WBA are at it (unlike QPR the other day)

Saint NL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hard to find a positive from that half. Guess it's good we're only 1 down. 2
die Mannyschaft Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 5 minutes ago, SNSUN said: It couldn't get much worse to be fair. We can only hope WBA knacker themselves and we make some decent subs. WBA have missed a few decent chances though, which is something worth holding on to. We have been shite but we are only 1-0 down... and that was from a penalty. WBA are far superior in fitness I cant see them walking round stopping and holding up play like we do.
broken spoke Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just now, Sheaf Saint said: Why is it to be expected? He doesn't play often
Colinjb Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Shower of Shite. But, as bad as we have been West Brom deserve to lead as they have played well. Tonda. Time to earn your crust.
BotleySaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Only 1 nil ar HT. Some changes by Tonda and we can turn it around.
SNSUN Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I was singing Manning's praises this week to someone, saying how much he's improved. My fault. Hook him! If this was FM I'd be preparing 4 subs, try Ehibationham and bring on Fellows, Welington and Dobbin at half time. It couldn't be much worse. Worst 45 minutes of the season and yet... we are only 1-0 down. Next goal in this game is crucial. 3
Suhari Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wow. Poor display. Second to everything, lacking energy, slow passing, and essentially playing with 9 men. Can only improve. 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 1 minute ago, Sheaf Saint said: Why is it to be expected? Because Stoke fans online were suggesting he was like this for them
Paul_B Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago One of the worst halves of Saints football I've ever watched. And there's been plenty. They all need sacking. We've not been great all season but this is next level shit. West Brom better than us in every single way. West fucking Brom!
sfc4prem Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Oh dear! We don't really have a foothold in this game. Need to change that up as our attacking threat on the counter isn't enough.
Mr X Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just now, Maggie May said: Worst performance under Tonda so far? Definitely getting that way!
tdmickey3 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Edozie couldn’t control a bag of cement, got to come off surely 1
davefizzy14 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) We need a big improvement second half. COYR 😊 Edited 2 hours ago by davefizzy14

Monk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Judging from the comments on here, sounds like the first half versus Leicester last season. I'm not one to write off young players but this could be the nail in the coffin for Mubama, Tonda clearly doesnt rate him and won't like what's on show tonight. Would like to see Tonda do something different and really go for it now, perhaps a 3-5-2/3-4-1-2 Edited 2 hours ago by Monk 2
stknowle Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago That was awful. Truly 1 star awful. Not a single chance worthy of the name created and Brom just looked sharper and more up for it all over the pitch.
Osvaldorama Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 8 minutes ago, Suhari said: Edozie really is toilet. I’ve wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt as he has shown flashes. But he’s been given a lot of chances this season and stunk the place out every time. So weak on the ball 2
Disco Stu Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago On the one hand, we're lucky it's only 1-0, on the other, they've only scored because of a penalty. We could still shithouse this if Tonda makes the right changes. 2
Gloucester Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Burgled a point at the Hawthorns last time but no Larin for the undeserved equaliser in injury time tonight. Edited 2 hours ago by Gloucester Saint 1

Saint NL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I saw someone post in here that Carrick has turned United round. Just checked the scores and they're 2-0 down at home 🤣
saint francis Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago My hopes for Edozie and Mubama starting have fallen flat.
benjii Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Edozie horrific. I'd be tempted to swap the left flank completely. Get Weli and Dobbin on. 5
Mboto Gorge Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago To think Edozie had the cheek to moan about not getting minutes, while regularly turning in “performances” like this when he does get a chance. Hes the last of our pathetic 22/23 Man City signings and needs to go the same way as the others. Sick of seeing him at our club. He’s even worse than when he first signed 1
Pamplemousse Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If we can win from being 3-0 down at Leicester, we can get something tonight Hard to see how but we'll keep the faith... for now
Saint Fan CaM Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago When was the last time Saints had less than 36.4% possession and NO shots on goal in a first half? WBA are doing a great job stopping us play a game of football by out-passing and out-muscling us. If they could do a better job in front of goal it would be 4-0.
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Only positive it's only one nil. Been truly awful all over the pitch. Downes rightly laying into a few players on the pitch toward the end of the half.
trousers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) 10 minutes ago, saintant said: It's the manner of it and how poor we are all over the pitch. Well, yes, of course... but that's my point... when a team loses, even really good ones, it's usually because they're having a "bad day at the office"... I'm not going to lose sleep over a one-off sub-par performance when we've got some key players missing and have been playing really well of late. Every team has games like this.... Hull City lost 15 games in the championship last season and are sitting comfortably in mid-table in the premier league right now... I'm sure they had plenty of games like this last season... Much more than we'll probably have I'd venture...As long as it doesn't become a habit then we can draw a line and pragmatically move on. FWIW, I think we'll come away with a draw from this game, which will be a decent outcome in the circumstances. Edited 2 hours ago by trousers 2
obelisk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Reminiscent of early season games where players looked very much off the pace. Just how it's only 1-0 is what gives me a modicum of hope that this can be turned around.
