OttawaSaint Posted yesterday at 14:28 Posted yesterday at 14:28 The sort of chance that routinely gets scored against us. Choker! Fuck! 3
Disco Stu Posted yesterday at 14:28 Posted yesterday at 14:28 Those two subs after our goal killed it for us. Poor game management unfortunately. 3
tdmickey3 Posted yesterday at 14:28 Posted yesterday at 14:28 No good enough by a mile. And our squad will like get worse
Saint Matty 76 Posted yesterday at 14:29 Posted yesterday at 14:29 First half awful. Second half decent. Really disappointing result and not too many positives outside of Larin. Missed Jander a lot. Play like we did in the second half and we’ll win most games. Don’t want to overreact too much. 8
whelk Posted yesterday at 14:29 Posted yesterday at 14:29 Sorry Stephens has cost us that. Should never have been 2-0 down 12
saint michael Posted yesterday at 14:29 Posted yesterday at 14:29 Such a disappointing game. That first half cost us. 7 points off playoff place after 1 game 1
SouSaint Posted yesterday at 14:29 Posted yesterday at 14:29 Nowhere near good enough. Typical Saints, dogshit start. 2
hypochondriac Posted yesterday at 14:29 Posted yesterday at 14:29 Well that's ruined my Sunday. I'm off to do something else. 1
skintsaint Posted yesterday at 14:29 Posted yesterday at 14:29 We've missed two chances that should have been put away. They no doubt would have been against us. 1
benjii Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Pretty good performance, with two big errors costing us. Controlled the game, created enough, barely threatened by Watford. One of them days. 3 3 3
Danbert Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Dobbin is no Azaz Mubama looks promising Watford took it in turns to hack people down When Watford ran out of steam and backed off us we were all over them Our crosses and set piece deliveries were often poor Finn is a one-man midfield Scienza was class Jack Stephens had a mare, Matsuki offered little 1
Osvaldorama Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Bloody hell. Dunno how they scummed that. Lucky bastards. work to do

John Boy Saint Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Start another run boys Watford manager will be gone by Bonfire Night
Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 14:30 Author Posted yesterday at 14:30 -7 it is. We paid the price for a garbage first half. I just hope Tonda isn’t some wet paper tiger whose entire edge was built on cheating last season. 1 5 2
Suhari Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Meh. We always start slowly. Annoying to end the unbeaten run. Awful first half did for us.
saintant Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Fuck sake Taylor. Lost in first half with two gifted goals and weird starting decision to play Dobbin left wing and Leo as second striker. Wake up call.
Saint Pete Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 (edited) Well, classic Saints start to the season really. Just we can't afford it this season starting on -4. Edited yesterday at 14:42 by Saint Pete
Saint NL Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 Second half better, but overall pretty poor. BDD and the new fella didn't have a touch.
pingpong Posted yesterday at 14:30 Posted yesterday at 14:30 (edited) Watford very lucky to get anything, celebrating like they won the world cup - strong indicator we are serious business this season - it'll be rare that anyone else gets that lucky I think. Bragg though, is a good sub, but we need more experience in the middle. Or a formation change. We don't really need two cdms in this league. Edited yesterday at 14:32 by pingpong 1
Wade Garrett Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 Well that was fucking shit. Downes played well but the rest weren’t worth a wank.
obelisk Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 Handed them 3 points on a plate. Started far too slowly and allowed their cheating strong-arm tactics to bully us out of our stride. Seven points adrift already. 1
Baird of the land Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 Really poor. 2nd half marginally better. Still the only moment one of our players was willing to run with the ball (Bragg) and we score. Instead of trying it more we revert to the sideways nonsense. guess lucky for us top 8 make playoffs. 2
Harry_SFC Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 If you concede those sort of goals you don't deserve to win any game. 1
Saint86 Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 (edited) Stephens cost us 2 soft goals this game (manning also to blame for the 2nd one). And then the ridiculousness of starting Leo in the middle and Dobbin on the left. Stupid unnecessary defeat to start the season vs a pretty shit Watford side. Mubama offered absolutely Zilch when he came on. And Watford made it very clear we lack the necessary physicality (also - why oh why did Woods not start vs that kind of side?)... Edited yesterday at 14:32 by Saint86 1
Patches O Houlihan Posted yesterday at 14:31 Posted yesterday at 14:31 That blue shirt is shit. Lets pile the pressure on the club to never wear it again 3 1
James Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 Just now, Saint Pete said: Well, classic Saints start to the season really. Just we can't afford it this season staring on -4. We always do this and the squad will get turned over in the last two weeks. We won’t sniff autos, too little room for error.
stknowle Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 Fuck me that was annoying. We were the better side overall but you can’t giveaway 2 goal head starts with terrible individual mistakes and hope to get away with it. Didn’t see an adequate Stewart replacement in Mubana on that showing. 3
Challenger Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 The continual appearance of Jack Stephens season after season is a damning indicator of the lack of ambition this club has. 9
Lee On Solent Saint Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 Just now, Saint Pete said: Let's not write him off after 1 proper game, just a thought. He didn't look any great shakes at Colchester either 1
Jack Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 It’s almost like playing a handful of non league standard friendlies at walking pace has meant we’ve started the season not looking very sharp. 9
aintforever Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 Stephens and Bragg were just shite, can’t be starting with either of those if we stand any chance of going up. 2
Zorba Posted yesterday at 14:32 Posted yesterday at 14:32 Watford 7 points clear. Mind the (Watford) Gap!

AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 14:33 Posted yesterday at 14:33 Well, we needed to win that but there we are. Lost the game in the 1st half. Should not be playing Leo in the 10 position. Dobbin was crap, Matsuki was meh. Shoehorn was WTF. However, that Larin non pass and the THB miss...almost as good as giving away a goal (especially the THB miss) 7 points from the top already, so we are going to have to win about 4 out of 5-6 to get amongst it..or we will be too far behind early doors of the season. 3
