Decent point all in all. Last time in the champ we'd have lost this and he chasing them all season. As it is we've been to our main rivals away and taken a point... They now need to go to St Mary's and do the same or win, depending on how the table looks.

Matsuki doesn’t look worthy of a place in the squad. Charles is very impressive but other than spells by Fraser/Robinson not a whole load else to shout about

Quarshie doesn’t fill me with confidence whatsoever, interesting to see if in a more favourable fixture next week we finally go into a back 4

Played ugly at times but that is a very valuable point away against one of the strongest teams in the league. Two years ago we would have lost this one I feel. We badly need reinforcements and coaching to sort out our incredibly raw defense.

Good result away to one of the big boys.

Thought we were pretty ugly and a shithouse team at times

Defended set pieces really well, generally, but looked open at the back at times.

Fraser good, Robinson good, Downes all over the pitch, Stephens generally good, and Bazunu was spot ton.

Quarshie though, feck me. If he (and early showing of Downs) is the standard we are signing, we aint going up - no way.

 

Clearly need proper wide players as 3 at the back remains fucking shite.

As for Still's 'flexibility' - yet to see it. Constantly hoofing the ball up to strikers not suited to it is pretty crap. Not buying that there is no possible other way to play the game with what we have at the moment.

Good point away against one of our rivals. Shit defending and a lack of cutting edge from us, but some real positives too. Flynn and Shea look really good. Robinson again looked exciting. I'd like to see Manning start ahead of wellington and Arma looks lost so we need someone else up top.

Saw the last 35 minutes. We didn't do much at all. Seem sloppy on the ball and unsure what to do with it. Will take the point but we need to be much much better than that showing.

Wasn't great but obviously take that. Both squads aren't settled yet and Still still hasn't got the squad that he needs to implement his style of playing. 

Stephens MoM for us ? Hard to pick one. I really wish Baz would come for some of those deep crosses, his lack of doing so makes our defending more nervy than it needs to be. Willing to give Quarshie a bit of a pass as still getting used to a new league but his decision making......wow.  Passing also a bit dodge but as I say neither team has started to hit there stride yet. Tough away game so happy with a point.

Take the point. We look a long way from being a good side even at this level. Ipswich aren't in much better shape to be fair. 

But an unbeaten start for the manager with a disjointed, unbalanced squad in flux is something to build on.

Don't know how anyone can watch that game and say Stephens was motm firstly, or come out having a go at baz for not sweeper keeping / commanding his area enough... If not for baz being quick out of his box, we'd have lost that to another spectacular Stephens calamity.

I missed the first half hour. And therefore missed anything of quality that saints did in that game it seems. I don’t think I saw more than 4 successful passes to our own side in a row. We were competitive but that’s about it. The deficiencies in the team are obvious. No out ball available at all. Everytime we went forward it came straight back - which is frustrating when it seems like Stills tactics are to go long and direct often. Which just seemed to break straight down. Archer was terrible. Armstrong tried hard but wasn’t good.

 

think quashie will come good despite the hammering he got today. For example harqood bellis looked ropey today and he’s an experienced championship defender. 
 

but bit concerning that we haven’t had a convincing performance yet under Still.

Not convinced he had an angle to get that in in fairness. Quarshie pushed him wide and baz got down to cover most, if not all, of the goal - will have to see on replays whether baz would have got it had it been a bit further in and on target.

Best of our CBs - but that’s a very low bar because THB and Quarshie were appalling.

Baz did bail Jack out in that instance though.

Decent enough point after gifting them a goal. Some good moments but still far too many mistakes and we continually give the ball away and give away cheap free-kicks. Robinson was very good as was Wee Man. The rest not so. Manning again looked solid when he came on so would prefer him to Wellington. Quarshie still looks like an accident waiting to happen - doubt we'll have to wait long. Need to get to September and see what we've got - need that creativity in midfield for sure.
