I’d be tempted to put Wellington left  back and Manning left mid, we’re getting over run down the left and manning can at least put a decent cross in

Yes but he’s a dreadful defender

Edozie and Mubama are  really killing us, similarly Matsuki looks gassed already.

Heresy to say it but Downes isn't as effective as Bragg on Saturday. His passing is always slightly off, and when he is under pressure like this, he will be cruising for a booking.

Its been very passive from us so far, I think we'll get back into this and get stronger as the second half progresses.

It couldn't get much worse to be fair. We can only hope WBA knacker themselves and we make some decent subs.

WBA have missed a few decent chances though, which is something worth holding on to. We have been shite but we are only 1-0 down... and that was from a penalty.

Hard to pass good balls forward when there is nothing (Mubama/edozie) in front of you making food runs to hit.

Right there is why Mubama will not make it (at this club)...his pass to Downes was lost, Downes slipped up and Mubama should have dropped/raced back to fill in...he did not and just strolled around whilst Downes got up and sprinted back

Mubama has done nothing, Edozie shite...

Our midfield is easy to bypass....

Damage control go into half 1-0

And fire a fucking rocket up them and ring the changes.... seen enough!

For those bemoaning tonight's performance (so far), did you genuinely believe we would go through the rest of the season without a bad performance and/or another defeat?

If not, what's so bad about this game being one of those inevitable matches...?

If it's (statistically) inevitable that we're going to lose at least one more game this season (Coventry lost 7 last season, we've lost 3 so far), then losing to WBA away is probably not the end of the world in the general scheme of things...

You're pragmatically....

We all know football doesn't work like that. Performances fluctuate.

Downes screaming at Manning now. Both Manning and Edozie getting a bollocking from teammates this first half.

Not surprised - they’ve both been shocking.

no, but due to the -4, the crap results against shite teams, we have lost most/all wiggle room with these games

Makes a difference when 3 of your best players are missing tbf

What a load of rubbish so far. Can't keep ball, no one up front we are playing with 10. Only won a few headers.

More like a pre season game we need up up our game 2nd half. Too easy for WBA.

It's the manner of it and how poor we are all over the pitch. No excuses for this.

They’ve been better in every department. Only player really putting a shift in is Flynn D. Too many people watching runners go past them without tracking back, as seen for their goal. Edozie has been very ooor but has had to spend a lot of time defending. I’d almost be tempted to whack Welly on and move Manning into midfield.

So they put the ball out so a player can receive treatment, and then he doesn't receive any treatment and doesn't go off. We shouldn't have given the ball back, they basically stopped the game because we'd just showed a period of good passing and attacking intent and they wanted to disrupt it.

No, but we’ve really not helped ourselves tonight.

One of those rare occasions where Tonda has got it wrong with the team selection.

Where is he playing??

On his own because Edozie is weak as a new born kitten.

Kind of game Jander would take control of. No Larin, Scienza or Dobbin up front leaves completely nonthreatening. The ball just keeps coming back.
