Quite aggressive in the tackle, physically imposing - wants to compete. A little slow getting out and creating a high line at times. More Lovren than Alderweireld from what I have seen of him. We only had one proper striker all of last season so getting to the end of August with three centre-halves feels like a luxury. Got skinned at least once and was way out of position for a big chance for them on goal. They might decide to keep him, he might have a change of heart and want to stay or another club might come in for him. Then we could be panic buying in the last week of the window. So many of the middle range clubs are buying some cracking players these days and I often think why did we not go for them. Toons, Palace, Stoke and Sunderland to name a few. Yeah, he was here at the back end of our L1 promotion season. We got him from Oldham, not a bad player, but never really stood out. He's not developed to any sort of level to be in a PL team though.
