The failure to properly replace Stewart will really screw us this season. To rely on Larin (who, despite claims about better fitness, clearly can’t do much more than 60/70 mins in multiple game weeks) and a youth loan from City is absolute madness if this Club is serious about automatic promotion.

20 mins against Millwall aside, we’ve been awful so far this season.

When you're struggling to beat Lincoln, you're nowhere near good enough for promotion.  We got very lucky that one bit of quality went for us. Other than that we were very, very ineffective and struggled with the physicality.  Can't see us being anywhere near autos with performances like that.

This one is fully on Eckert I am afraid. Game was there, and he decided to throw it away by trying to park the bus and invite Lincoln to just launch it into the box. Needs to be the last time this happens - he's played enough of these physical sides and dropped points to stop this. We aren't good enough at the back to stop the crosses or win the headers, and Peretz is really weak at dealing with balls on top of him.
