They look like they’ll struggle and I think that high energy game that they play must leave them feeling so much more tired when they put in all that effort but lose. But this is the first time I've looked at them and thought they're no where near, they don't even look competitive. They're just not good enough in any position. They're still relying on Pukki to get them their goals and I don't think he's got it at this level to be honest. What didn't help them this summer this time is that they sold their best player. To be honest if Gray or Townsend had joined us then Ralph would probably have coached the life out of them. Benitez is the better manager (no shame in that) who is playing to his teams strengths with what he has at disposal so Gray/Townsend are looking decent. I'm sure Palace fans wouldn't have been disappointed to see him leave. Less prolific than Nathan Redmond. Definitely should have signed him.
