Sheaf Saint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What was the time of Larin's equaliser up there last season? 93rd min was it? 1
Doctoroncall Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just now, Dman said: On balance probably a fair result. We’ve had the better of the chances but don’t deserve to win any games starting like we did. Were lucky not to be 3/4-0 down at half time. They didn’t have decent chances, certainly dominated the ball.

SNSUN Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Had to turn the game off 20 minutes or so ago. I feel I've missed a cracking finish to this game. 1
Saint Matty 76 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Draw probably fair on the face of things with them dominating the first and us largely the second, but it’s hard not to feel like Dobbin’s cost us 4 points recently (albeit not just him vs Bolton). He does certainly offer more than Mubama as the Larin stand in, though. Also, a really good and entertaining game. 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago FT 1-1 Firstly, a cracking game..proper Championship football. WBA are a very good side... As much as they were the better side in the 1st half, we were in the 2nd....both sides had great chances/positions to win the game... Downes was my MoM...he ran everywhere. Edozie was shite (despite scoring a tap in) and Mubama was fucking appalling,.... 11
BotleySaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Time out of the team hasn't helped Fellows. He's drifting all over the place and looks well off the pace. 2
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Ball falls to Fellows...and that's that. He's done some decent things since coming on, and some not so.
RedArmy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Frustrating not to take one of those 2 big, big chances. 2nd was there for the taking tonight. Would have been some going considering we were still on -4 after 1 game. 1
macca155 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) That's a hell of a point, take that all day Mubama clearly caused us major issues in the 1st half Edited 1 hour ago by macca155
Disco Stu Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Respect the away point. Downes needed to shoot. Dobbin needed to show some composure. Edited 1 hour ago by Disco Stu 1 1
skintsaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Would have taken that at half time. Good battling back and unlucky not to win it. 1
SNSUN Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago After that first half, that is a very respectable point on the road. But my God we need to improve from what I saw.
saintant Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Take a point from that all day long after how poor we were in the first half. Dobbin should have won it mind.
GDog07 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Great point. That was difficult, all credit to the step up in the second half.
Wade Garrett Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Fair result. Tough game. Need our wounded players back. That was a good point with the side we had out. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tom Fellows adds nothing to the team. Absolutely jack shit.
obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago After that first half a point has to be good. Could have stolen all 3 at the end though. Good effort in a tough match though.
Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Excellent point all things considered. WBA boss didn't shake Tondas hand at the end?
Jimmy_D Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Could have gone either way, and in the end went neither. Not a terrible result. 1
Osvaldorama Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Decent game, great point all things considered. Cant believe we didn’t nick it. Dobbin has to finish those 1v1s. 1
Saint86 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Not a bad point all things considered. Could have won, could have easily lost. And after that first half we had no business being in the game. Fantastic game for the neutrals for a 1-1. 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Fellows really was not up for this game - shouldn’t even have been on the bench.
sfc4prem Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Quick word on Dobbin - composure of Andrew Mountbatten when through on goal. 1

Baird of the land Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Fellows looked a bit confused which team he was playing for. Tried to set them up in centre mid, then cleared the ball right at the end. Disappointed we didn't get a Princewill cameo instead
Colinjb Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Two teams in great form cancelling each other out. They will be as disappointed not to win as us. Fine. That will be one of the trickiest games of the season and we got a point. 2
Turkish Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Cracking game, after such a poor first half finished disappointing not to win it but probably just about deserved a draw in the end. Would have taken a draw at kick off given players missing and it being a really tough game. Got to win Saturday now Edited 1 hour ago by Turkish 2

trousers Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) 1 hour ago, trousers said: For those bemoaning tonight's performance (so far), did you genuinely believe we would go through the rest of the season without a bad performance and/or another defeat? If not, what's so bad about this game being one of those inevitable matches...? If it's (statistically) inevitable that we're going to lose at least one more game this season (Coventry lost 7 last season, we've lost 3 so far), then losing to WBA away is probably not the end of the world in the general scheme of things... You're pragmatically.... 1 hour ago, saintant said: It's the manner of it and how poor we are all over the pitch. No excuses for this. 1 hour ago, trousers said: Well, yes, of course... but that's my point... when a team loses, even really good ones, it's usually because they're having a "bad day at the office"... I'm not going to lose sleep over a one-off sub-par performance when we've got some key players missing and have been playing really well of late. Every team has games like this.... Hull City lost 15 games in the championship last season and are sitting comfortably in mid-table in the premier league right now... I'm sure they had plenty of games like this last season... Much more than we'll probably have I'd venture...As long as it doesn't become a habit then we can draw a line and pragmatically move on. FWIW, I think we'll come away with a draw from this game, which will be a decent outcome in the circumstances. Pragmatism the winner... Edited 1 hour ago by trousers 1 1
Lighthouse Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Can’t be unhappy with a point at West Brom, especially when missing three key players. 4

ButtikonSaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Really decent match We came back strong in the second and should have won against a decent WBA... Jander, Larin or Leo in the team and I reckon we win it. Massive away support as usual Edited 1 hour ago by ButtikonSaint

Dman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 3 minutes ago, Doctoroncall said: They didn’t have decent chances, certainly dominated the ball. Morgan should have scored at 0-0 and they had a couple that shot across the box which on another day could have gone in. They dominated the first half, we were incredibly lucky to still be In the game. arguably the the opposite second half!
aintforever Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Decent point but we looked superb second half, should have won it.
