McCarthy is a fucking waste of space. Ralph you're a fucking idiot who owes Forster an apology.

How on Earth can he be at fault for that??

Oh they don't deserve that.

Why not? They've taken all their chances. The nature of the game. I've never understood this whole idea of a team "deserving" more because they have more corners and possession.

So slow to dive and glacial to get back up. It's like he's afraid of touching the ball, the way he dives.

WTF? He pulled off 2 great saves for 2 of the goals while the rest of the defence stood around doing fuck all and watched unmarked players knock in the rebound.

Are you really that thick?

Ball could have gone absolutely anywhere when it bounced off the post then. Literally anywhere else and it's bit a goal. That's the kind of luck you get when you're a team like City.

Exactly this. How many times have we hit the post and its not come back to us. Che made a mistake he will know that. This has never been a 3-1 game, we've played quite well so far.

Don't get the criticism for McCarthy (apart from the non-pen) or Salisu - we're playing against some of the best players in the world, doesn't mean our players are suddenly "not good enough".

Let's not kid ourselves that Forster would have saved any of their goals.

There’s just no robustness. No solidity. Everywhere there are loose passes and the prospect of losing the ball too easily. And then the house of cards fall with a puff of wind. It’s at the manager’s door. Needs coaching. Tactics. Strength. Every week the same.

So many expert experienced PL managers on here, who have spent all season at the training ground building up their superlative knowledge of each and every member of the first team squad.

What does Ralph know, bloody amateur and completely out of his depth.

Game is as expected. Top team has the most possession, chances etc. And goals. We've put in a good effort and scored but you've got to be realistic. Their budget is ginormous. Ours is pocket money in comparison.

Hopefully they'll ease off second half with a lot of games coming up.

Basically it's shorthand for a team having more luck than normal with their finishing and having a higher number of goals than they would normally based on the chances they've had.

I can’t watch the second half so if we miraculously draw 3-3 or even win then it’s my doing. You can’t make mistakes against a City team on this form.

Now make subs, put players where they should be, and go for it. Anything less than 5 goals for City tonight would be a respectable result.

Time to switch off,  players walking on the edge of our own box.  Another tonking coming up unless Ralph sorts this out.  Defend like fuck,  get out at 3 with some confidence and respect intact and move on. Really can't be done with another embarrasment.

Played well but sadly that huge blunder from Adams changed the course of the game. City look as though they have another gear so let's hope they go easy on us second half. Generally pleased with our play and we did cause them problems.

McCarthy pulled off some decent saves. Those that think otherwise must be watching a different game!! #opinions

Did he really? Because theres been 4 shots on target and 3 conceded. And one of those saves was just before a rebound shot that we conceded.

Ralph is just using this game to experiment and try out a few things in case needed this season, Bertrand out of position a few times at right back, Stephens in the middle.

McCarthy all over the place, should have been a pen to City and a sending off.

I just keep thinking of that Wolves game the other night. They had City at 1-1 with 10 mins to go and ended up being thrashed 4-1. And Wolves are a better team than us. At least we aren't hanging on false hope :)
